TL;DR: Face is the Place - Leverage 1 Mana Even Hunter Heropower Steady Shot with easily triggered Face-Dmg Mech-Deathrattles and a Hyperagressive Playstyle. Deckstring:
AAEBAR8G+wWAB9kHhRDN9AKwiwMMyQT3DccP2w/UEeD1AuL1Au/1Arz8AomAA4iFA/OnAwA=

having written this down, its abit allover the place, ill fix this at some point and make a cleaner writedown. its a bit rushed because i wanted to share this before DoD. (copy paste from my r/wildhearthstone thread)

Even Hunter Bomb (MechRattle) - A hyperagressive Face-Is-The-Place Approach to Even Hunter that stays true to the nature of the Hunter Class by leveraging (NOT "utilizing") its - arguably bad - Heropower.
Dragonbane will be auto-include and Phase Stalker with more secrets a serious consideration.
Wouldnt claim the deck to be very competitive, nor meme-y. Its a good middleground and probably "Tier 3", but at least where normal Mech Hunter is.

AND ITS SO MUCH FUN.

With the Hunter Reveals of DoD , in particular Dragonbane and Phase Stalker  (and oddly Dwarven Sharpshooter, Toxic Reinforcements too) there has been some Theorycrafting around Heropower focussed Hunter Decks, especially Even Hunter.
I saw plenty of comments like "If youre going to play Even Hunter you absolutely need Steamwheedle Sniper to give the Hero Power actual card-like (Arcane Shot) value". I strongly disagree with this notion that a Hero-Power focussed Hunter Deck should try so hard to contest the Board. I think it is plain wrong. Hunter simply lacks good AoE and Draw and decks have traditionally been (Hyper-)Aggro or Tempo oriented. Reno Hunter only exists because of the Flexibilty of Zephrys and consistency through extremely good Tutoring, and does not really use the HP that much.

Not gonna lie - Ive always liked playing Hyperaggressive Face Hunter and Combo Freeze Mage Decks. One 'braindead' Deck and a more complex highly defensive OTK? Odd Couple? I think differently, both decks have Auto-Pilot turns and decisive turns with VERY intricate choices and consequences and you have to have a flexible gameplan and both have that "solitaire" mindset that i like.

Before DoD lands, I'd like to show you how i have been building and playing Even Hunter during RoS and SoU climbing to R5. Yeah, its probably not a legend deck. The (my) idea followed in building can be summarized with these points:
1. I want to play Face Hunter SMORC, games are decided quickly and decisively before Lategame, win or lose.
2. The Early-Hearthstone Approach to Face Hunter simply cannot compete anymore
3. With cheap agressive cards I quickly run out of steam (no draw) and lose my board to AOE
4. Two Face Dmg for 2 Mana is very low threat, so standard Hunter HP is little help
5. The Hero Power needs to be much better
6. I can improve the Hero Power with Baku the Mooneater or Genn Greymane
7. Baku's Three Face Dmg for 2 Mana is barely better (should be 4 ever since Justiciar), but still very clunky, 1 Mana Cards are bad come mid-game, 3 Mana cards Clunky
8. Odd Hunter misses secrets completely (duh)

So Even Hunter It is !!!
9. because of 7, 8 . What Archetype could work well without odd Cards?
10. Some Mech Hunter (Tier 3 Deck Archetype) Lists run even cards Explodinator, Bomb Toss, Fireworks Tech, Venomizer, Replecating Menace, Mechwarper, Missile Launcher - all even Cards
11. That looks like a good Start!
12. Observation: Many of the Cards in 10 work with Deathrattle Mechs.
13. Is 12 worth commiting to and expanding upon? Lets think

Because we always click Hero Power on Odd-mana Turns and are otherwise Face-oriented, Clearing the Board needs to be costly for the Opponent.

Deathrattles do exactly that!
Further, "Bombs" specifically synergize well with our aggressive Hero Power!

- We want to corner our Opponent between our Bombs and a hard place (0 Health)!
- Clearing our Board will lower their Health, which in turn(s) threatens lethal by Hero Powers and Spells.
- Goblin Bombs dont necessarily need to be "activated" (+1 Attack), they are threatening because they CAN be activated with Deathrattle Triggers and Magnetizing Mechs
- We want to minimize Dead Draws. Every Card needs to pull its weight and deal face dmg!!!

Quick Deck Rundown
Decklist far below

Maximize Face-Dmg = Value. You want to get 2 Dmg out of 1 Mana, in line with your heropopower, you will usually get something closer to 1.5 Dmg for 1 Mana, include future Rattles in that calculation. Sometimes Hero Power even on early Even Mana Turns. You want to threaten Lethal before Reno Turns. Don't be too concerned about the board beyond Turn 3. Its a Face Deck. You win with 6 to 8 Mana with Feig Death and Quickshot or simply because they concede as they realize all your active Deathrattles are too much lethal Pressure.

Core Cards:Explodinator, Bomb Toss, Fireworks Tech, Whirliglider, Venomizer, Glaivezooka, Genn Greymane (derp)

The Bombs and basic, agressive activators. Venomizer is good for early board control too.

Activators: Feign Death, Defender of Argus, Dire Wolf Alpha, Venomizer, Glaivezooka, Fireworks Tech

Feign Death is (should be) at worst 2 Damage Face and at best 10+ Damage Face, 5+ is easily achievable with Kobold and just one Bomb. Argus forces trades and bomb triggers, Wolf is a flexible activator.

MVP: Mad Scientist, Explosive Trap,

Mad Scientist has always been sick value, Explosive Trap is often not played around because they perceive your 0 Atk Bombs as no threat. Or it is played around, and they lose tempo and trigger your bombs themselves for you. Win-Win.

Finishers: Kobold Sandtrooper, Quick Shot, Bomb Toss, Feign Death

Kobold Sandtrooper just fits too well in as our 2mana Leper. Nice Burst with Feign Death. Quick Shot is auto-include.
More FaceDmg: Headhunter's Hatchet, Serpent Ward, Kobold Sandtrooper,
HH is just an even weapon. Really unsure about Serpent Ward, but its often 4 dmg and works with activators.
Tech: Annoy-o-Tron, Flare

Just some tuning, Flare because of secret mage.

Matchups:
Its all Draw dependant. (Such wisdom, ikr...) Again THIS IS A FACE DECK. You just don't win if they have the taunts and heals in their top ten Cards. But you always have quick games, good for climbing. This is more based on my feeling than raw stats.

Reno Decks in general: even or favored, were simply too fast.

Warlock feels good because they kill themselves for us tapping for heals. Damn Junkies.
Rogue good, trades face alot with daggers.
Shaman good, we dont really care to play their board-value game.

Secret Mage - about even with our Flares, maybe favored for us because their AoE can actually be bad for them and they run out of steam easily trying to clear Explodinators.
Priest about even, too slow and board-centric, but sometimes they have these big annoying heals (stupid change in class design from blizzard, still mad).
Armor stacking Druids - bad, too much health. Also scarabs.
Mech Handbuff Paladin very bad, we cant deal with wide-tall and taunts at these mana discounts.

Ive seen few Warriors, usually pirate, and non-Reno Hunters, usually Mech. Aggro vs Aggro is like whatever.

THEORYCRAFTING TIME!!

Other Cards to consider
Replicating Menace, Missile Launcher- Found these to be too slow, but Missile Launcher has a nice interaction with venomizer :)

Necromechanic, Baron Rivendare - havent tried, too slow and clunky imo
Mad Hatter, Bone Mare - too boardcentric imo, Bone Mare too clunky

The number of activators needs to be seriously considered. You want rather fewer than too many.

Octosari, Deathstalker Rexxar, Cybertech Chip - could help transition into later stages of the game, but dont really fit this Face-Deck. Maybe theres enough potential here to go from.

Dragonbane will be Auto-Include. Its a Mech, Pseudo-taunt. Just not too board-centric to be disimissable. 5 DMG face OR board on T5 is insane. Its semi-tall, which is good when Whirliglider and Explodinator are wide already.

Other Secrets + Phase Stalker?
Idk which secrets could fit with hyperaggression better than explosive trap with all its utility.

Garrison Commander is currently on the fence, should be good with Dragonbane and Phase Stalker

What are your ideas? Opinions on my deckbuilding approach? The Deck itself?
