Hello Everyone
I am a new player, and this is the first deck that I managed to put together with the cards I have. Are there any suggestions about what cards to add? I don't have a lot of dust so please avoid purple and orange cards. But I think this is viable right? Should I be able to aim for rank 15 10?

Climbed from rank 25 to 20 with only 1 loss (you can't lose stars). But Sylvanas felt way too slow, so I used all my dust and crafted Zilliax. Works well with the Eggs and Whelps and their deathrattles to get health quickly. I know that when the new expansion launches Ragnaros and N'Zoth will be gone from standard, but that's still a couple of weeks away. I'm saving up some dust for Micro Mummy and Annoy-o-Modules to replace them. And Zilliax over the Applebaum. Instead of N'Zoth, Kangor's Endless Army might be a fit then. Currently enjoying the deck!

Went undefeated to rank 13. Despite being good when I'm behind, I noticed MCT was a "dead" card in most situations. I might replace him with a second Subdue soon, depending on what these ranks have to offer. Up till now it's mostly Shaman, Evolve or Murlocs. Also a couple of Combo Priest (which is why Subdue is so good imo), Quest Hunters and Tempo Mages. The deck feels very solid and intuative to me, I haven't faced a match-up that felt unreasonable. I'm back at rank 14 due to some RNG loses which made me quit for the day. Current record (27-7-0).

I downloaded HSReplay to have a deck tracker, makes it easier when playing for a longer time, as the memory gets fuzzy after a while. This also means I have a nice way to see statistics and w/l games. Currently rank 11, but after 2 loses to Shaman I decided to call it quits for today. Hoping to make it to rank 10 before the end of the month, that would be a good first season :)

I know it's early, but I am prepared for the new expansion and the subsequential loss of Ragnaros and N'Zoth for this deck. Today I packed a golden Tirion from the Tavern Brawl pack, so the new deck will look like this:
- Ragnaros the Firelord, N'Zoth, the Corruptor
+ Tirion Fordring, Mind Control Tech (1)
Of course this is only temporary until some of the new cards might make this deck. I'm still on a budget as a new player, but the core of this deck is cheap and viable to climb with imo. I'll make a push to Rank 10 after school today.
I would really recommend getting Kangor's Endless Army for this deck just since it works so well with Zilliax and can easily win you the game if you get something like a Zilliaxed Mechano-Egg from it. The only problem is that the card is rotating out soon so if your a budget player and don't plan on playing wild anytime soon I would probably pass on it (same thing with Zilliax and Countess Ashmore).
Hey man, even though this isn't the most optimized list for Quest Paladin (and I haven't played it at all), I enjoyed the read, nice to see sometimes how tough it is for newer players to make something they enjoy playing that isn't getting destroyed left and right on the ladder!
Might I suggest you add 2x Bronze Gatekeeper or 2x Annoy-o-Module? I know you want to swap Zilliax in for Rotten Applebaum, so while you don't have it, I'd cut it for 1 Gatekeeper, and for the 2nd, probably 1x Candletaker or 1x Subdue, depending on what you feel you need the most - do you find yourself without Reborn minions on early turns often? Do you really need 2x Subdue, do you hard mulligan for it in matchups you might need it the most (like Priest, Rogue)?
edit: one thing I forgot to mention, this deck is fairly slow and weak to aggro that runs rampant rn (in the form of Evolve Shaman, and even Quest Shaman should be a tough matchup), so it's questionable if it's the best choice for ladder atm. But, if you have decent results, no reason not to keep at it.
Thanks, I'm also saving up for Micro Mummys since they are mechs too.
Subdue is very good, it removes big minions or at the very least lets Acolyte of Pain draw 2 cards minimum. But in a later metagame I can replace it with something else.
Shaman with Evolve on 4 does suck, but overal Reborn minions are sticky and Shaman doesn't have good board clears. If you fight for board aggressively (Subdue helps here also), there should be a chance. I like Bone Wraith in this match-up, and most people tend to drop that card. Consecration is also added for some form of AoE against Aggro decks.
I don't have any advice on this deck, but since you're new I'll link you to the two best Meta snapshot sites to look at in case you haven't heard of them:
ViciousSyndicate's weekly Data Reaper Report
Tempo Storm's weekly Meta Snapshot
The fact that Quest pally isn't included on either of these sites means that the deck isn't really competitive at all in the current meta. If nothing else, checking these sites will give you some insight on what other meta decks are running so you'll have a better idea of how to play against them.
