This deck took me from rank 16 to rank 9 with only 2 losses, so I figured it was worth sharing.
Your draws synergize with each other, but the most important card to mulligan for is Raiding Party and anything cheap to combo it with. If it fails to show up, Cursed Castaway has a chance to draw it.
There should be plenty of healing in the deck, including some mech synergy for Zilliax, which may come as a surprise to your opponent since rogues are supposed to have trouble healing. #ClassIdentitiesLOL
Try to save your Shadowstep for N'Zoth, the Corruptor to guarantee the ability to use Togwaggle's Scheme on it in a future turn when you have very few cards left in your deck.
You're free to put Anka, the Buried in this deck, but I always found her to be a bit underwhelming & overrated in most scenarios, so I've excluded her from this list.
i dont think its working mate, and plz post a proof for that 15-1 , i hope they r not all casual games !
I would if I could, but I prefer playing HS via mobile device, so I don't have a stat tracker to prove it. Sorry!
well bro, its called arcane tracker and it works on all platforms and devices, waiting for ur screen shot once u play 15 more games <3
Thanks for the tip, had no idea they made it for mobile. Though, from my phone, it's not the best looking thing:
Had to remake it as a new deck on an alt account (was rank 17, made it to 10) in order to post this. But it did the trick. From ranks 10-5, this deck seems to fizzle a bit more, but I still get > 50% (currently rank 7 on main account now)
15-1 at what rank? I'm finding this to be extremely slow and am getting murdered at 8. Any aggro shaman, rogue, or paladin is steamrolling this deck. I even lost to a warlock. I've had Toggwaggle's & Shadowstep in my bottom 5 cards twice in games I actually made it to the end.
"Plenty of Healing" = 3 cards..? In one 5 game stretch, I pulled one Khartut Defender.
Sahket causes more problems than it solves. Bloodmage Thalnos also causes issues on the N'zoth combo (crap body, extra fatigue, and unlikely to still have eviscerate at that point).
I am now trying a quest variant with -1 Sahket Sapper, -1 Bloodmage Thalnos, -1 Mechanical Whelp +1 Rotten Applebaum, +1 Questing Explorer, +1 Bazaar Burglary....
Those are some solid points, maybe I should've specified. I started at rank 16 and rode this deck all the way to rank 9 with (so far) only 2 losses. Starting to see some resistance as early as rank 10, so for the sake of clarity, I'll rename the title and update the description to reflect this 👍
Sahket is mostly a defensive mechanism against Sylvanas, Rag, buffed/reborn or large taunt minions. You typically don't want to play it against decks that gain benefit from battlecries (ie. rogue or battlecry shaman), and when you do play it, it's best used with weapon deathrattle to ensure its value triggers at least once. If your opponent manages to steal it, you can use that to your benefit via your own battlecries. It also doubles as a tempo tool when you can curve out the weapon into sakhet in the early game, but again, know your enemy before doing so.
The combo is amazingly fun if you get to it. I'm going to keep trying with this, I like the concept overall.
The variant I posted seems to be slightly better, but the quest is really slow in this deck. I usually don't get it completed until turn 8 or later.... the Questing Explorer is nice for draw/body if you get it early, but the loss on the mulligan (for quest) outweighs the addition.
Going to just try doubling up on Togwaggle's Scheme and Shadowstep. The Rotten Applebaum is working well. Worst case maybe the second Togwaggle's can be used for Sylvanas or Khartut's if you end up with doubles in hand? Will post if it goes well....
