Hello it's julez, are you tired of N'zoth Paladin, Rouge, Priest; Warlock, Hunter, Mage?
Because honestly that's whats around, i have designed this deck to work against this with cards such as Plague of Murlocs, The overload shaman draw base with Spirit of the Frog a few murlocs to top it of and it works like a charm!
For Aggro decks our Thunderhead does the job as always.
I managed to play this deck to 200# legend from 500 with an 61% winrate (27/17) and i had a blast doing it, got it on camera and i'd be happy to cut and comment if anybody would like to watch it!
so in order to understand which cards to pick you will have to understand the match-up as well as your own combos, if you have a Thunderhead and a Spirit of the Frog you want to seek out cards to compliment these such as Zap!, on the other hand if you have an Underbelly Angler + Sludge Slurper + Evolve, then switch up the evolve and see if you can get cards to compliment the Underbelly Angler. ill write (3) ideal hands bellow.
objective: fast board pressence, clap!
objective: pull a combo off early
objective: bait combo parts with pressure
objective: identify and play accordingly
objective: have fun, you are going to enjoy this.. i promise
objective: let them get on the board early, swing turn.. take as little damage as possible
objective: if it is a quest shaman, make sure there is no lackeys, keep 3 minions on the board until you accelerate, think about the cost of a Mogu Fleshshaper, if its aggro.. swiing turn!!!
objective: identify, for aggro make a swing turn for control combos and sustained pressure
objective: identify and annihilate
Combos and strategies
the deck feels oddly paired up, and that is also the case as this is a combo decks.
from the simple mogu fleshshaper + mutate
to the more advanced desert hare + voltaic burst + mogu fleshshaper + evolve.
basically this deck is a game of tekken 4 and you wanna go to land those combos.
besides from combos you also have to read the course of the game, if you are having a bad start, your best chance to win the game is swing turns, Thunderhead.
if you cant play up with the early game of a combo priest, plague of murlocs.. always identify if you are in momentum or defending, zap! is useless alone so focus on the plays its generating.
