Hello everyone, i've been reaching legend before the 10. every month the last 6 months but now.

This month has been extremely competitive with a wide range of meta decks, and it has been a blast to play! i decided early that i was not going to play a meta deck to legend, so i tried everything from beast quest hunter  to OTK Priest, but nothing could get me past rank 2.

i realized to win the meta, you have to beat hunter, priest, shaman and warrior and you'll be good so here it is, this decks utility tools makes combo decks thrash, and the classic Spirit of the Frog [/card] draw tool, which is brokenly good with the new [card]mogu fleshaper + Mutate.

The constant token push from Thunderhead has always been a great tool, but with plaque of murlocs it's out of this world, the murloc synergi has never been stronger with overload.

Vessina is a minor Bloodlust, that has enormous snowballing effect, leaving this on the board will result in death and destruction, the same goes for Thunderhead, Underbelly Angler.. so you get my point, everything in this deck has potential to run off.

I do not have the win rate for this deck as i played half of the games on ipad. but i played from rank 4 to legend and it took less than 3 hours of playtime, would guess for something around 70% long term in the hands of a good player.

Got everything on camera, so let me know if you guys want a video!

Mulligan guide

In order to successfully pick a start hand, you will have to be able to see your combos, for instance Underbelly Angler is great, but not alone. so if you start with a shrine of the frog, a Thunderhead and an Underbelly Angler, against a warlock then it would not be right to keep the Underbelly Angler . so i will add a consider which means consider if it has its counter combo parts, and if so keep it.

Druid

objective: Gather Combos for maximized damage output

keep: Underbelly Angler, Sludge Slurper, Thunderhead, Spirit of the Frog

consider: Lightning Bolt, Mutate, Doomhammer and Mogu Fleshshaper

Hunter

objective: stay on the same health as opponent and save extend.

keep: Underbelly Angler, Sludge Slurper, Thunderhead, Spirit of the Frog Mogu Fleshshaper, Mutate and Zap!

consider: Voltaic Burst Earth Shock

Mage

objective: Kill him before he gets cocky.

keep: Underbelly Angler, Sludge Slurper, Thunderhead, Spirit of the Frog, Zap!, Voltaic Burst!

consider: Plague of Murlocs, Earth Shock and Doomhammer

Paladin

objective: differs a lot, main objective is to identify, and then for highlander =survive early game, Murloc = establish board before prismatic lense, and shivallah= slap

keep: Underbelly Angler, Sludge Slurper, Thunderhead, Spirit of the Frog, Mogu Fleshshaper, MutateZap!

consider: Voltaic Burst, Earth Shock, Lightning Bolt, Plague of Murlocs andVessina

Priest

objective: to prevent draws, and transform important minions

keep: Underbelly Angler, Sludge Slurper, Thunderhead, Spirit of the Frog, Plague of Murlocs, Lightning Bolt, Earth Shock, Rockbiter Weapon.

consider: Voltaic Burst, Mogu Fleshshaper and Mutate

Rogue

objective: counter play and face!

keep: Underbelly Angler, Sludge Slurper, Thunderhead, Spirit of the Frog, Mogu Fleshshaper, Mutate, Soul of the Murloc and Zap!

consider: Earth Shock, Lightning Bolt, and Plague of Murlocs

Shaman

objective: Prevent him from bouncing and maximize damage output

keep: Underbelly Angler, Sludge Slurper, Thunderhead, Spirit of the Frog, Zap! Lightning Bolt, Mogu Fleshshaper, and Mutate

consider: Voltaic Burst, Earth Shock and Vessina.

Warrior

objective: Maximize damage output

keep: underbelly angler, Sludge Slurper, Thunderhead, Spirit of the Frog, Zap! Mogu Fleshshaper, Mutate, and Plague of Murlocs

consider: Vessina, Lightning Bolt, Earth Shock.

Warlock (very hard match-up vs zoo)

objective:  keep his board low until Thunderhead, keep his board down with Thunderhead

keep: Underbelly Angler, Sludge Slurper, Thunderhead, Spirit of the Frog, Zap! Mogu Fleshshaper, Mutate, Voltaic Burst

consider: Plague of Murlocs, Vessina and Rockbiter Weapon

Combos and strategies

as we progress in understanding the deck you will quickly learn that some combos are stronger that others in sudden match-ups, for an example Mutate + Mogu Fleshshaper on a zoo lock as it both removes their momentum, grant a 8-cost they cannot remove, and often for free. so obviously this combo is something to mulligan for.

To make the good draws you'll have to take some bad draws first, cycle through spells with Spirit of the Frog, keep in mind most of your cards overloads, so use the stealth wait a turn without spells, drop a thunderhead or another valuable drop as you cycle for more value, it is very important NOT to use coin before you get your Spirit of the Frog as the coin can be used as a great cycle tool, so good that second is preferred in some match-ups!

Soul of the Murloc will draw you a Plague of Murlocs with Spirit of the Frog, so use Soul of the Murloc on a big board, trade out for 1/1 murloc deathrattle, and then Plague of Murlocs.. self explanatory but important.

our ultimate extend lies in DoomhammerRockbiter Weapon, yes Doomhammer and 2x Rockbiter Weapon is 28 damage, something most classes cannot sustain as a pressure besides a swarm of murlocs.

Bloodlust is for extend, The Storm Bringer is for fun and giggles, something i personally enjoy.

Plague of Murlocs makes combo priest super awkward which is super fun to witness until they concede, enjoy!
