I invented this deck and was having trouble closing out games. I decided to add hakkar to prevent chef Nomi and any deck that draws fast. Turns out the deck is really good. I have bullied my opponent in every game I've played and not lost a single one at legend rank. This deck is also really fun you bully any deck that isn't control warrior but I think you can go toe to toe with them. I also think I have nailed the list down to a T.
How do you mill the bloods?: play elysiana.
How does this deck beat all druids?: If you put a blood in their deck just one duplication means they can't play Elise and dupe their moonfires. Also with maly on board they take 8 damage from each blood.
Why Hakkar?: Because it beats druid, OTK paladin, quest shaman, all hunters, it forces warrior to play elysiana early.
Free wins: All mages, All hunters, Murloc decks, Aggro warrior.
You should be favoured against everything except control warrior cause they run elysiana.
Mulligan:
Druid: Hakkar, Zerek's cloning gallery. If you have gallery mulligan hakkar.
Shaman: zilliax, convincing infiltrator, mass hysteria, pain, words, penance.
Priest: (mulligan quest), silence, mass dispell, zilliax, convining infiltrator, penance, pain
Hunter: Convincing infiltrator, hysteria. nova, words, pain, penance almost impossible to lose.
Mage: Impossible to lose
Paladin: hysteria, pain, words, nova, zilliax, words, penance, zereks at high legend cause it is usually OTK.
Rogue: (Mulligan quest), Pain. convincing infiltrator, penance, zilliax.
Warrior: assume aggro, Pain, penance, words, convincing infiltrator.
Warlock: hysteria, pain, words, nova, zilliax, words, penance.
you do realize that a Control deck with elysiana can only w8 till you Play yours. then both decks have no bloods in them and if you rez after you will have bloods in your deck as well.
Yes I realize that but that still doesn't mean silence ruins the entire strategy of the deck.
I only have one Psychopomp and one Plague of Death. What are good replacements for them?
This deck punishes slower decks. Absolutely obliterated two Quest Druids. Will need to test some more against some varied matchups to make a final judgement though.
As with all top-heavy Priest decks, this is always vulnerable to hyper aggro although it has some outs as well.
I've made three changes. I took out both penance's and one pain and added Phaoris (yes it's another high-cost card that is a bit hard to justify but he is literally another win condition in a deck with this many big spells and if he doesn't win you the game outright they spend a ton of resources dealing with the board) and Madam Lazul (good early game minion that usually gives you a lot more value than penance with the card you steal from their hand) and finally the quest.
I'm unsure about Lazul. She might be worth watering down the ressurect pool for the early game but I'll have to test some more.
The quest might be a bit win more in this deck, but with the amount of healing (even without penance) it seems like it could push through some more stubborn matchups. It also makes the opponent play around it a bit which can be useful.
I like it. Are you sure that finding a place for the quest isn't worth it though? The healing is there for it. Also, you're running FIVE 9 cost spells. Surely it might be worth playing King Phaoris in such a high-cost spell heavy deck?
I've updated the list think it's better now.
Would add Wild Pyromancer and couple of cheap spells for aggro removals or deck is too slow otherwise.
Aggro isn't a problem it's quest shaman Lol.
well if they would push quest shamans condition from 6 to 8-10 then they would be a bit easier to manage. or when the damn cost reduce would stay on the board as well. i hate that mogus get played, value trade, then get morphed for 0M into an 8 drop. 2M 3/4 rush on turn 4 and made into alakir for 0 mana. thats the most hilarious way to fight for your life.
a 3/4 rush is worth 3-4 mana, then make it a ridiculous 8 drop for 0. you think innervate was to much blizz? how is 11-12 mana worth of stuff on turn 4 Sound for 2 freaking mana. you basically got a 9-10 mana Discount. stupid way to loose. 0 deckbuilding skill, 0 Player skill, just slam it down and Prey for RnGesus
