This deck is incredible. I just got legend for my first time ever with this, and it was honestly pretty easy. Credits for this deck goes to /u/FU4FREE on reddit. Your primary focus is to flood and control the board until you have a lethal setup (with warleader or bloodlust). This meta doesn't have many board clears compared to most so you can go very wide usually.
Keep the following cards in mulligan:
Muloc Tidecaller, Murmy, Underbelly Angler, Mogu Fleshshaper, Sludge Slurper
Use Mutate on Mogu Fleshshaper whenever possible (you'll get about a 6.5/6.5 on average from my limited experience). The next best targets (if you are desperate) are probably Coldlight Seer and Murloc Tidehunter
Some basic matchup tips:
Quest Druid/Shaman/Rogue: Just go all in and you usually win by the time they finish their quest. They don't play board clears so not much risk
Control Warrior: Just hope they don't have board clears. This is probably the worst matchup. You'll usually lose
Highlander Hunter: Just control the board and set up lethal. Be prepared for them to play Zephrys for Hungry Crab. Play around secrets if possible, but don't be too scared of explosive trap. They only have 1 copy.
Murloc Paladin: Just go as wide as possible. When they play Tip the Scales on turn 5 (which is almost every game), either push for lethal or trade their board away so they only have 2-3 murlocs and you have 6-7. From there, you'll usually win
Rush Warrior/Zoolock/Priest/Aggro Rogue: Just flood and control the board (with value trades) until you have lethal (with bloodlust or warleader.
Anyone have an recommendations for replacements for leeroy jenkins & Siamat if you don't have those legendary cards?
I never comment but this time i will, this is one of the best build i have played, last week i was rank 16 and now i hit legendary but i changed siamat to hagatha and i won my last game with her, so thank u!
Siamat better than swampqueen ??
I find this deck on internet one week ago, it's f*cking awsome. High win rate and very funny. I love murlocs.
Ok now what do u think of adding octosari? Can help of you fall behind
59% Winrate Rank 15 to 12.. i lose ALL mirror matchups and against QuestShaman. Idk wat my problem is. Could someone pls give me a lil' advise? 16 wins, 1 against shaman. 11 loses, 8 against shaman: 5 murloc; 3 quest. It's a good deck tho! I'm just bad.
Nice Deck!!!
Helped me through rank 5 with no stress. I dont have Siamat so I replaced it with Al'Akir the Windlord and he won me a game.
Thank You!!!
Thanks Got EZ Legend with it from rank 2 to Legend.
63% win rate
Good deck
Remind me my first Legend with Aggro murloc Paly before warleader nurf.
Not it is not my first Legend but thanks !
Really trash deck, for (EU) meta.
The win or lose is decided, before start of your first turn. No variation in gameplay, without Toxfin or Underbelly Angler in opening hand, you lose 90% matches. Good only vs rogues and meme decks.
Went from 4 - 1 last night with 74% wr rate, I think it might be you that’s trash LUL
i faced someone in the ladder playing the same deck but with the inclussion of Plague of Murlocs & Swampqueen Hagatha
2-0 thus far at rank 8 against a warrior and hunter. I'll give it a bit more of a go tonight, but so far I'm digging it.
Edit: just got wrecked by a priest, but that's everyone these days.
42% win rate over 30 games. This deck is trash yo
You’re probably trash bro...
Stupid
This deck actually works. After 30-40 minutes from rank 8 to rank 5. Very good job!!!!
Some other random tips I feel like I should mention
-Against priest, keep Toxfin in mulligan to clear their high health minions
-Coin out Underbelly Angler on 1 whenever possible (assuming you have at least 1 other 1-2 mana murloc). Very few decks can kill it on turn 2 so you can get insane value from it. It is the best card in the deck by far. If you have some 1-2 mana murlocs with Angler in mulligan, of course keep them to play on turn 2
-Don't use mutate on coldlight seer or tidehunter until you feel like you are completely out of the game otherwise. Mutate should be saved for mogu 95% of the time. It is also great to use on Siamat after choosing windfury and rush to trade off two of their minions (if you know they will be able to kill the damaged siamat next turn easily)
-By control the board, I mean have a lot of minions on the board and value trade away their threats. Trading 3 small murlocs of yours into 1 medium (4/4) minion of theirs is NOT a value trade. Keep your 1/1s and 2/1s alive unless they provide a great value trade, such as the opponent having a 3/1 or 3/2. If your opponent has a vanilla 1/1 you don't necessarily need to trade over it, as long as it isn't threatening to kill one of your minions.
-Absolutely play warleader on 3 if it's your best play. Dont always leave it in your hand until lethal. With that said, I'd rather play 2-3 small minions on 3 so I can play warleader the next turn for way more damage. Sometimes you need to play warleader just for value trades, such as if your opponent has 2 4/4s and you have 2 2/1s, you should of course play it and trade. You will also be forced to use bloodlust for good trades occasionally and that is fine!
-Against Quest paladin, I actually recommend going face most of the time (unless you have a great value trade available). You usually wont be able to outvalue their reborn minions, and their 1/2 with reborn that gains 2 attack when damaged should be ignored if possible while it's a 1/2. Once they get the quest down and are duplicating reborn taunts, it's often too late unless you have a huge board and a toxfin
-The minion you poison with toxfin depends on the matchup. If the opponent doesn't run any easy pings (such as rogue/druid/mage hero powers), then playing it on murmy with reborn is often good. That way if they do use removal on it from hand, at least you didnt lose a minion on the board. Against decks with 1-2 damage AOE, such as explosives trap or sandstorm, if course you should play it on a 2-3 health minion. If you have multiple 3 health minions, I would advise against putting the poison on Underbelly Angler because that is already their highest priority threat (again, it is the best card in the deck). You want to have multiple threats, not just 1 huge threat for them to remove
-If you have 2 tidecallers and coin in hand, play both on your first turn (except maybe against hunter because explosive trap)
Is Siamat necessary? I don't have it and probably replace it with a Bluegill Warrior for more face dmg.
40% win rate over 10 games :)
Another very bad match up is Quest Paladin. Always lose to them due to luck. But that's this game in a nutshell: Who's Luckier?
