It's astonishing how much value this deck can generate. It's also shockingly flexible, simulating both aggro and control styles.

  • It can hit the ground running, flood the board, and overwhelm an unprepared opponent.
  • Between secrets, free minions, and timely Magic Tricks and Cloud Princes, you can hold the fort until establishing a permanent advantage.

People are expecting Mages to play the Khadgar + Conjurer's Calling + Mountain Giant combo. But for some reason they never expect Khadgar + Vex Crow. Nor do they expect what appears to be a Khadgar Mage deck to be sporting Archmage Antonidas as an alternative finisher.
