I'm actually surprised at how powerful this deck can be. I get boards equal or better than classic handbuff paladin, but with a much better early game.
This is basicly a zoo deck that suddenly has huge boards near the end.
Why is Hir'eek, the Bat suddenly good?
Because of redundancy. This isn't the only card in the deck that likes being buffed, so you don't have to wait to draw it to go off. Also, when you draw it later, you can count on drawing buff cards since there are so many now. And make no mistake, this card is REALLY good in the deck. Nearly always 7 4/4's. Often more.
Why is Spirit of the Bat suddenly good?
It still isn't!! I took it out.
Just try it out. It's a lot of fun!
I'm sorry but this deck is not viable in the current meta and will be even less relevant in the DoD meta. There is a burst of tempo and damage at the start but one big tempo swing(heal or aoe) will ruin you.
SO MUCH FUN
FINALLY THE BAT ALIVE
Why you no use Expired Merchant to copy bats >:( ?!?!?!
it gives 1/1 bat
No if you copy bat in hand then you'd have more than one in deck and because of his cost you'd always copy hirek if he was in your hand. Since it's early cast you copy him before buffs then one bat buffs another bat with the spirit out. Just a thought ;)
Replacement for barista?
Second Omega Agent. Or Expired Merchant as suggested above.
thank you for trying my suggestion. How did it go in playtesting?
Well, it is not as good as barista vs control, but it is more flexible. Copying history buff or magic carpet is often just as good, if not better than Hi'reek or omega agents.
Unreal trash, don't waste your time and dust!
Maybe you're just bad...?
Lets be nice and not call the trash deck a trash deck
