Play N'Zoth, the Corruptor then Counterfeit Coin and Togwaggle's Scheme to shuffle multiple N'Zoth in your deck, ensuring the best late game of all time in a control deck. Be warned of Skulking Geist though...

Play Shadowstep on high value targets like N'Zoth, Zephrys or Hench-Clan as often as possible.

Play Valeera the Hollow as soon as possible to bait your opponent before casting Vanish and start to generate absurd amounts of value with the death shadows. Play Shadowcaster then the death shadow copy to go infinite with the multiple copies… same with Zola.

6 removals : Backstab, Cheap Shot, Doomsayer (indirect one), Walk the Plank, Vilespine and Zilliax

3 board clears : Fan of Knives (small one), Dark Iron Skulker (medium one) and Vanish (big one)

3 draw tools : Fan of Knives, Mimic Pod and Elven Minstrel

6 heals : Refreshment Vendor, Antique Healbot, Khartut Defender, Rotten Applebaum, Zilliax and of course Reno

1 tech : Eater of Secrets for secret mage (Acidic Swamp Ooze could also be played instead of Doomsayer or Cheap Shot)

In this matchup in particular (very common !), try to trigger the effect of Counterspell with Counterfeit coin if you have it in your hand. Play your heal cards as soon as possible to avoid getting burned to death. Zephrys, Eater of Secrets, Zilliax and Reno are very important in this matchup.

Zola could be replaced with Sonya, it's just a matter of preference.
