Hello everyone, so i have been experimenting a lot with hunter, just to come up with a highlander hunter like everyone else.

I decided to do something unique and here it is.

As everyone including myself deemed Unseal the Vault invalid, i took at further look into the case and tried everything from Mad Summoner, to fishflingers and nothing really caught attention, everyone but Starving Buzzard.

2 hours and 30 games later and I've now gotten a whole other deck, a deck full of beasts as blizzard proposed it.

The only problem that persists through and through from every deck list was, to have the necessary draw/generate. with 2x Hunter's Pack 2x Starving Buzzard 2x Master's Call and 1x Cybertech Chip this problem is gone, Cybertech Chip can be replaced with halazzi the lynx.

Your goal is ultimately to Dire Frenzy according to the matchup, Vicious Scalehide for aggro, Scavenging Hyena for control etc, even more, specific than that tbh.

whilst doing that you want to make sure to apply a pressure high enough to keep the enemy on the toes and for you quest, but also build up mandatory combos in hand such as, unleash the hound/swarm of locust [/card]+ [card]scavenging hyena, or Desert Spear + Starving Buzzard and Snake Trap

I am going to try and push this to legend within the next couple days. stay tuned!

 Mulligan guide

in this mulligan, I will cover objectives as well as start hand. Nevertheless, I can never make a mulligan guide for every individual match, therefore I will try and give you the tools to make the decision, ultimately experience is the best tool and only you can get it.

always consider tracking on bad hands, or when you want to burn for a faster cycle.

Druid

objective: To get a Scavenging Hyena bigger than Wrath, and before tour 5-6, if not possible Dire Frenzy it.

keep: Springpaw, Timber Wolf, Scavenging Hyena, Dire Frenzy, Desert Spear Master's Call

consider: Revenge of the Wild, Tracking and Cybertech Chip.

Hunter

objective: To Dire Frenzy + Vicious Scalehide, and then finish with the quest, note that Scavenging Hyena can finish the game easily, as they don't have a lot of clear and a lot of minions.

keep: Springpaw, Timber Wolf, Scavenging Hyena, Dire Frenzy, Desert Spear Master's Call, Unleash the Hounds and Snake Trap

consider: Revenge of the Wild, Tracking, Hunter's Pack, Tracking, and Cybertech Chip.

Mage

objective: to rush him down with only 1 problem, Reno the Relicologist.

keep: Springpaw, Timber Wolf, Scavenging Hyena, Dire Frenzy, Desert Spear Master's Call, and Hunter's Pack

consider: Tracking, Revenge of the Wild, and Snake Trap.

Paladin

objective: to survive and annoy, dropping a Scavenging Hyena when he Prismatic Lens, will lead to no murlocs, mainly because of the thought of you having Unleash the Hounds.. even the thought. For Quest pala just ping to win.

keep: Springpaw, Timber Wolf, Scavenging Hyena, Dire Frenzy, Desert Spear Master's Call, Unleash the Hounds, Revenge of the Wild and Snake Trap

consider: Tracking.

Priest

objective: to keep them from their draws, clever ping clever win.

keep: Springpaw, Timber Wolf, Scavenging Hyena, Dire Frenzy, Desert Spear Master's Call, and Revenge of the Wild

consider: Tracking, Snake Trap,

Rogue

objective: to not drop your stuff into clear and survive

keep: Springpaw, Timber Wolf, Scavenging Hyena, Dire Frenzy, Desert Spear Master's Call, unleash the hounds

consider: Tracking, Cybertech Chip, and Revenge of the Wild

Shaman

objective: To avoid bouncing minions and snowball early

keep: Springpaw, Timber Wolf, Scavenging Hyena, Dire Frenzy, Desert Spear Master's Call, and Unleash the Hounds

consider: Tracking, Revenge of the Wild and Tracking

Warrior

objective: to identify the archetype and Dire Frenzy according to it.. for aggro 1x Dire Frenzy on Vicious Scalehide first, and second on Tundra Rhino. if aggro just take the Vicious Scalehide through and through.

keep: Springpaw, Timber Wolf, Scavenging Hyena, Dire Frenzy, Desert Spear Master's Call

consider: Unleash the Hounds, Cybertech Chip, Tracking and Revenge of the Wild.

Warlock

objective: to identify archetype and play accordingly, for zoo, Dire Frenzy + Vicious Scalehide, and then make a big Scavenging Hyena. For quest.. kill!

keep: Springpaw, Timber Wolf, Scavenging Hyena, Dire Frenzy, Desert Spear Master's Call Unleash the Hounds

consider: Cybertech Chip, Revenge of the Wild and Tracking

I've been asked a lot why we are running 1 type of secret, Snake Trap. this is the only beneficial secret for the deck whatsoever, people knowing the deck will have the advantage of knowing it to be a Snake Trap... this causes them to attack face, which is a game turner for us... I've dropped it tour 2 often, for them to keep attacking my face, once Starving Buzzard is out they WILL clear it, which is equivalent to either an overextended clear spell or 3-draws-for-a-trade. very valid when played propper, also we have the Hunter's Pack to make our secrets less predictable

combos and strategies

Snake Trap and Desert Spear up before Starving Buzzard will start a draw fest, to avoid overdraws on Revenge of the Wild is simple, everything left from the Starving Buzzard will not trigger a draw, everything right will. placement of Starving Buzzard is everything.

if you meet a class with high board pressure, save your Scavenging Hyena forUnleash the Hounds, don't drop it with Springpaw, as this card is better at securing on fewer minions.

Dire Frenzy is the key to success in many Coin games, drop a viscous scalehide tour 2, and coin Dire Frenzy tour 3. this combo has a whopping 90% winrate out of 12 samples.

For controlling match-ups it can be hard to pull of the hero power for face damage, use Dire Frenzy on your Tundra Rhino so you can be super gready about him.

halazzi the lynx is a great tool i would add it instead Cybertech Chip, nevertheless, halazzi the lynx is 5 cost, and cannot be played before tour 6, requires a low hand, and blows to draw in your start hand

and last but not least.. GO FACE!
