This is my take on Reno-Shudderwock Shaman. The deck is kind of a Midrange, and the win condition is not endless Shudderwock, but to lock the opponent out of the game once you have played all your impactful Battlecry cards.
- You can handle mild Aggressive decks & Zoo to some extent with Maelstrom Portal, Sandstorm Elemental and an emergency Zephrys the Great, but it remains probably your worst match-up.
- As long as Control Decks don't hit any of Shudderwock, Loatheb or Mojomaster Zihi with Dirty Rat you have a strong winning chance.
- You can disrupt and stall Combo decks with your own Dirty Rat, Loatheb, & Mojomaster Zihi.
- Big Priest is easy to handle as long as you time the transform effects and hit the correct minions.
- Generally you want to try and preserve your Jade cards till after you have finished Corrupt the Waters so that you can get the biggest Jade Golems when you play Shudderwock.
- The perefect Shudderwock casts Loatheb to lock them from casting any spells, summons at 4 Jade Golems (should be 7/7 to 10/10 easily), and sets their Mana Crystals to 6 through Mojomaster Zihi, meaning they need a wall of taunts to not die at this point.
This might not be a super optimised list but it does work against as intended against the correct matchups, and with any deck it has it counters. In my opinion it is more interesting than the cookie-cutter Shudderwock lists out there.
