This is a mid-range Taunt Druid that does not feature N'Zoth, the Corruptor or Master Oakheart. The latter due to sometimes pulling Hadronox too early and it just gets removed, and running the Old God is just too greedy and not needed for the win condition.

You want to try and reach the mid-game as soon as possible so you can ramp with Nourish to Primordial Drake to clear aggro boards. Oaken Summons and Greedy Sprite can help you achieve that by thinning your deck and ramping you as well.

The typical combo is to use Naturalize on Hadronox on turn 10 when enough Taunt minions have died (The Lich King is a high priority). Then later on you can use Witching Hour to resurrect Hadronox and immediately eat it with the Carnivorous Cube.

As usual Archivist Elysiana is there to extend the fatigue battle a bit more, and if you are lucky enough discover a Witching Hour or Hadronox again.

10 matches Win-Rate (30%):

  • W: Reno Mage / Reno Priest / RenoLock.
  • L: Quest Druid / Secret Mage x3 / Evolve Shaman / Dinomancer Warlock / Mecha'thun Warlock.

Any match that can transform (Shaman & Mage for example) or summon beasts for your side (Cornered Sentry for example) then the deck is almost guaranteed to flop.

If Taunt Warrior interests you, then this deck is even more enjoyable as you keep building your wall.  For any questions or feedback please leave a comment, thanks!
