Deck summary
Among the cards in the Saviors of Uldum expansion, the one that intrigued me the most was the Desert Obelisk.

When there are at least 3 cards on the board, then this triggers 3 * 5 = 15 random damage to the minions and the opponent.

The advantage is that from 3 identical cards, you can accumulate the damage up to 7 cards. In the end, 7 * 5 = 35 damage. So we can consider that once the combo well done, this card can create an OTK.

Here is the latest version of this deckbuilding based on a "control" basis and draws to get the combination.

Advantages:
Enable the effect of the Obelisk of the desert while playing for fun

Disadvantages:
- The high cost of the Desert Obelisk card (5 mana), which makes it necessary to hold good all along the game to be able to play the whole combination.
- This deck is not recommended to climb the ladder in try hard, rather for the pleasure of the well deserved victory in casual!
- Adjustments are necessary to take into account all the possibilities of the thief

Key cards

The combination
The ideal combination is based on 4 main cards:

Augmented Elekk + Desert Obelisk + Preparation + Shadow of Death

This combination is realized in T10. What does this combination achieve? The Shadow of Death will put in your draw 3 copies of your Desert Obelisk in the form of "Shadow" that will be "played when picked". With the Augmented Elekk you multiply your copies by 2, which puts the number of Desert Obelisk in your draw.

On the next turn (T11) play Myra's Unstable Element after making sure you have room in your hand and what's going to pick up your shadows. Use one last Walk the Plank to get rid of a beefy opponent.

Leave a layer with a second Shadow of Death and Sprint to reach your goals!

Enjoy!

How to play the deck?

Control
To arrive at this inconvenient combination, I decided to steer this deck on control. Having little used the Rogue class, I may not be all good notions of "tempo" and maybe I forget key cards. I'm waiting for your advice in the comments.

In order to gain value and control I used the Bazaar Burglary quest that gives a 3/2 dagger and Insensitivity (Heroic Power) after "4 cards owned by another class". I thought of Pilfer/ Clever Disguise / Blink Fox / Hench-Clan Burglar. This allows to "curve" a little the quest if we have a little success.

=> Be careful, however, to Blink Fox which copies a card from the opponent, so against a Rogue the quest does not work.

=> Stealing cards also makes the games less redundant by adding a little salt in any alternative combinations to play.

=> This choice can lead to a bargain of having to perform both a quest + a combo. This feeds the discussion to improve the deck!

Other control cards: Eviscerate/ Walk the Plank / Rotten Applebaum

The mulligan
No special advice for mulligan. The mana curve is low enough to fetch the draw and / or flight cards for the quest. The combination arrives late so feel free to choose low cost cards.

The pick
For the pick and try to go fast in the combination: Questing Explorer / Acolyte of Pain / Sprint

In more
Edwin VanCleef does not seem at the moment much needed, but it can be useful with spells that you "fly" from other classes. I keep it for the moment.

Shadow of Death can also be used on your other servants to try to save time and get you out of certain situations. One can think of rotten apple.

I look forward to your comments to improve this deck!
