First time posting a deck since it's a lot of fun and very strong right now. Got to legend from around rank 3 without losing a single game.
I went through a few slight variations but the current version I've been playing with has a 77% WR [40-12] and got a 12-1 win Brawl. It's also one of the most budget decks currently since you don't need quest and the only high cost card is High Priest Amet.
Try it out and see how strong it is. If this gets enough attention, I'll write some strategy tips but the deck is pretty straight forward. HF!
EDIT: Currently on a decent winning spree from my starting legend rank to #280 [55-17]. Beating a lot of mages which is the hardest class and only class of a negative WR of 47%
Some simple tips for people starting to try this deck:
Always try and mulligan for either Lightwarden and Northshire Cleric + Extra Arms + Power Word: Shield AND/OR Injured Tol'vir / Injured Blademaster + Circle of Healing or Neferset Ritualist. Always keep High Priest Amet.
General Strategy: 1 drop + Arms is very strong if it sticks and can snowball out of control. Injured minions + heals and health buffs + Inner Fire can win games on turn 4-6. There are many combos in this deck so play around with it and look at all possible scenarios for lethal.
Key cards:
High Priest Amet is the bread and butter of this deck. If you can make it stick + buffs you can develop an insane board that can only be cleared (most of the time) by Brawl/Mage. Amet and Psychopomp combo very well together obv.
Topsy Turvy is really good in this deck. A lot of people run Silence instead but Turvy is much better and more versatile imo. It has won me a lot of games w lethal when I don't have Inner Fire. And it works better than Silence vs Doomsayer. Most of the time I only use this for lethal or on Wild Pyromancer if I need board clear.
Holy Ripple is a good card vs clearing with Wild Pyromancer and getting a lot of draw with Cleric. I took one out and it works just fine. I think 2 was too many and sometimes would be a dead card. Remember that it does 1 damage to face.
Vs Mage: (hardest matchup) keep Topsy Turvy or Mass Dispel against Doomsayer
Vs Warrior: (second hardest matchup) try and play around Restless Mummy if you can. It can be pretty hard to win against Warrior if they keep clearing early game and if they play Dr. Boom on curve.
Vs Aggro: (Token Druid, Zoolock, etc) I sometimes keep Wild Pyromancer and Holy Ripple + some spells.
Vs Priest Mirror: It's heavily reliant on who plays 1 drop + arms first or who sticks minions with high health. Mass Dispel can be game winning in this matchup.
If you like this deck and if this was helpful leave a comment letting me know what you think :)
Currently reached rank 10 with a 10-1. Great deck!
Could the quest be put in this deck? It seems it would be a good addition with all the heals, although it may cause a loss of tempo. Maybe just don't keep it in your opening hand and play it if it is drawn if it goes to late game?
Unfortunately not. I haven't tried it but there are a few different decks that are similar to this that use the quest that you can look up. The deck is already very strong as it is and the loss of tempo isn't worth it since you can win on turn 5-6 with a good starting hand.
Upvoted and giving attention. Looking forward to the strategy tips!
Hey I wrote "some" stuff haha. Let me know how the deck is working for you :)
Nice :D I've been playing the deck for a bit on ranks 2-4, and frankly I think I've been doing it wrong. I even tried playing quest and divine hymn but that didn't work too well. I'm really glad you took the time to write the guide! Many thankss
