This is my first deck I am posting on hearthpwn. I´ve climbed with this deck from 15 to 9 with this deck with almost no losses. I have not keep track of any stats or have payed attention to what decks this deck especially is good against. What I do know that it is extremely fun and that the addition of Anubisath Warbringer definitely has strengthed the state of plot twist warlock.
MULLIGAN:
As far as mulligans go. Keep always keep Dollmaster Dolorian, especially with the coin. Try to find a Plot twist with it if you can. Against aggresive decks keep Questing Explorer and Hellfire and search for Plot twist and Doll master dolorian.
STRATEGY:
In terms of strategy try to stay alive till you have the Dollmaster or Fell Lord Beltrug + Plot Twist Combo. After that you're most of the time healed back to full health and end with a buffed and hand. Also your Quest is completed by this time which means you have the extra benefit of drawing a card for zero.
Completing the quest happens automatically and is not something you should strive for during your games.
There is no good replacement for morrigan. She makes your board extra sticky, especially after dollmaster+plot twist.
Also, it feels like Anubisath has anti synergy with this deck since you dont want to play stuff from hand, rather get extreme value off of combo. Try Kiblers' variant.
But you do not play Anubisath from your hand. Getting it from Lord Betrug or Dollmaster Dollorian is actually huge and the reason why I am winning in the late game. a 9/8 Zilliax or other buffed minions can totally switch things around.
I made a plot twist deck in wild (i know its all different there), but in general you only want to play the 5-6 mana minions from hand then twist to get stupid boards like rag+morrigan+sneeds (you get the idea). You want betrug or dollmaster create a sticky board that has immediate impact. If you use them to buff hand and hope for value in later turns you will more often than not find that there are no later turns.
The combo itself is pretty slow as it is, also plot twist removes handbuffs.
The only minion that screams 'plot twist' in this expansion is that rebirth colossus legendary.
Also when it comes to this particular deck there are too many things that have no real impact on the game (lackeys, piper, explorer, warbringer). You'd be better off twisting into mechanical whelps or that safe taunt minion as they leave something behind.
I don't have Dr. Morrigan. Is Harrison Jones a good replacement?
Not that many weapons in the meta so far. I think Cairne Bloodhoof would be a better replacement.
