Introduction:

Hello, everyone! I'm MrDopehead, and I've been playing Hearthstone since the initial release in 2014. I'm a consistent Wild Legend player on EU and I've devoted myself to specializing in the Odd Paladin deck archetype - mostly because it's one of the most fun deck archetypes I've ever played, but also because of how good it is against the Wild Meta. I spend a lot of time trying out different cards in the deck every month, in order to find the best deck for the Meta at the given time, and once I'm satisfied with a deck, I climb to Legend with it in a matter of hours. This deck is the one I used to climb with in Season 69 (July 2019) and therefore also the basis of my Season 70 deck, which I'm still developing.

The deck was uploaded to Hearthstone-Decks.net after I had posted about my climb to Legend with it on Twitter. This caused its overall statistics on HSreplay.com to plummet down to 58.5% at the time of writing this guide (as seen in the screenshot below) - however, my own personal winrate from Rank 4 to Legend was 76%.

Matchups:

The deck works well against all Aggro decks, where it's usually just a matter of flooding board and going face and doing smart trades when needed.

It's also very good against Big Priest, where it's also mostly about flooding board and going face - that should kill them before Turn 7, which is when they can play Psychic Scream. In this matchup, it's very important to save Ironbeak Owl for Obsidian Statue, otherwise the game is more or less lost.
