auto loss to meta mage deck?
this deck is bad right now, people are playing around it. also the double whirlwind are often dead in my hand I had to keep for the combo and plague never come, I prefere brawl.
Agree, the only reason I'd include Whirlwind here is in case I also include Grommash Hellscream. As this is not the case... use Brawl instead
Actually I'm losing a lot to quest decks
If you can fit Barista Lynchen in this, do it. Wonderful potential synergy with Armagedillo, Omega, Tomb Warden and Elysiana.
Also consider throwing in 2x brawls.
im not sure about the plague, i mean 5 mana and for boardclear u need 2 cards which is expensive, and with all the spells it lacks taunts and pressure just like some already noticed, it will most likely go into fatigue. and i dont like fatigue games it just feels weak. Rather change some spells and elysiana for pressure
Tomb Warden is too good...(not mentioning boom of course)
Besides highlander priest from back in the day, this deck feels insane. If your on the fence about this deck as I was, DO NOT hesitate. If you have played any sorry of warrior before wether it be old control or mech or even dragon warrior, then this deck will feel right at home. Just remember: grind. Grind your opponents down. On top of that, the occasional omega devastator on curve will win you some games! Trust me, you will generate more through assembly and drone delivery. The amount of games I played in mirror where 10+ devastators were played are numerous.
I didn't have Armagedillo or Archivist Elyssiana but I replaced them with some mechs like dyn-o-matic, got rid of one plague, as well as both whirlwinds and threw in two brawls, supercollider, and another shield block.
I just played this deck from rank 10 to 5 with 0 losses and it's hella strong, even without the cards I had to remove cuz I'm f2p. The one plague actually helped in quite a few scenarios against massive mage boards. Supercollider came in handy too, in case the opponent had counterspell for my spell removal. Dyn-o-matic was insane, as usual. Sometimes I discovered Armagedillo off frightened flunky which was pretty sick.
This deck is just broken, strongest deck ever to be in standard. Other control decks and midrange decks have no way of winning against it. It has more value than quest shaman, even aggro barely stands a chance.
but what he didnt know was it did have enough taunt minions to justify Armagedillo and simple value of getting it on 2 cards once was strong enough in most matches
Tbh, i find this deck isn't having enough taunts to justify Armagedillo.
I just play a more standard list with Frightened Flunkys, Restless Mummys, Tomb Wardenss and one Plague of Wrath. I also think SN1P-SN4P is out of place in this list, so i am not running him either.

I play with my own version of taunt warrior, main differences is that I run 2x Brawl and and some more taunts instead of SN1P-SN4P and Acolyte of Pain. I don't really want to draw that heavy in general and I cut SN1P-SN4P because I didn't want it to feel like another plain Boom Warrior. In general I feel though, that the taunt package is cool but the main win condition remains the Mech + Dr. Boom, Mad Genius package.
Do you feel like Plague of Wrath is worht running instead of Brawl?
I also run two Brawls AND one Plague of Wrath.
It's worth it imo. Also senergies with one of Dr. Booms hero powers and Dyn-o-matic.
I've been playing brawliseum with this. First run I finished with 11 wins, current run is 2-0 so far. I'm absolutely loving this deck!
TOMB WARDEN, I SEE WHAT U DID THERE BLIZZ.
Deck would be better to get rid of the 2 x Whirlwinds and 2 x Plague of Wrath. Replace them with brawl and dynomatic.
"Taunt" Warrior where there are only like 5 taunts total nice
Flunky, Assembly, and Boom's mech ability all give you access to far more (if you need them) and they are often the key to victory.
