This deck is phenomenally stupid, but perhaps just stupid enough to work. When playing a controlling Renounce Warlock deck like this, the goal is survive until you draw your Renounce Darkness. You also wanna draw a lot of cards along the way, which is where Supreme Archaeology fits in the deck. You can cast random class cards for 0 mana, which is way better than casting control warlock spells for 0 mana! (0 mana Voidlords never hurt, though.)
Ideally, you want to renounce before you complete the quest, so the hero power from your renounce doesn't override Tome of Origination. If you ever do complete the quest before you renounce, it's time to search for Arch-Villain Rafaam. Worthless Imps from Impbalming and legendaries from Prince Malchezaar make your deck thick enough that you can safely draw a ton of cards (with Archivist Elysiana you kind of have a 51 card deck), and then you can turn those imps into random class cards with Renounce Darkness or Rafaam.
Remember, your end goal here is not to complete the quest as quick as possible. It is to use the quest late game with random legendaries, big cards from Elysiana, or random class cards in order to drown your opponent in value. And if anything ever goes wrong, just cast Yogg-Saron, Hope's End.
There's probably a lot of changes I can make to this deck. I opened a Supreme Archaeology during pre-release, and I am determined to use it, so I just slotted it into my existing Renouncelock deck alongside some other new cards. The deck is pretty rough as a result of this and there's probably some changes I can make. Questing Explorer comes to mind as a decent neutral card that will not get renounced, and generally supports both game plans while having a decent body to keep me alive with.
EDIT: +1 Transmogrifier, -1 Impbalming
Hey i reallly like your deck, i'm only missing prince malchezar, is it a big bummer?
sorry i never got back to you. if you haven't tried the deck out since then, malchezar isn't a necessity, he just adds a few more cards to the deck. maybe consider replacing him with a second copy of impbalming.
There's no Yogg in the deck yet he's in the explanation part.
I removed him and then forgot to change the description. Currently displayed build of the deck is untested. Transmogrifer may come out and Yogg put back in.
