This deck is mainly build around turn 7 combo: Dollmaster Dorian and Plot Twist and turn 10 combo: Fel Lord Betrug and Plot Twist .
Besides these 2 ways to fill the board, you can fill the boeard with N'Zoth, the Corruptor or N'Zoth, God of the Deep or Bloodreaver Gul'dan. Besically this deck has 5 ways to fill the board.
How to play?
First of all mulligan hard for plot twist and dorian. Remove all other cards.
Turn 1-4:
You will start the game just like you play Handlock. Keep drawing cards until your handsize is about 9. Also early threats can be eliminated with: Defile, Shadow Bolt, Dark Skies and Hellfire. Another great protection on turn 4 isCircus Amalgam.
Turn 5-7:
T5. Turn 5 is a bit of a weak turn. Mostlikely it is hero power and than either Shadow Bolt or Dark Skies but sometimes you need to play Zilliax.
Until turn 6 you will need to play a bit defensively, removing threats, playing taunt minions etc.
T6. Turn 6 is best for Khartut Defender or Mechanical Whelp or Sylvanas Windrunner and if you really need the protection: Aranasi Broodmother. Whatever you do: do not play: Dr. Morrigan on turn 6 if you do not need to. Actually it is best to play her after you have summoned a copy by either 1 of the plot twist combos mentioned above. Having multiple Dr. Morrigans is a great way to cycle cards from your deck to the board.
If you play against slower decks it is a great moment to play Deck of Chaos. A great card to make the more expensive minions cheaper.
T7. If you have it by now: play Dorian - Plot Twist combo. If you do not have the Dorian - Plot twist combo for turn 7 keep playing defensively.
Turn 8-10:
If you managed to get the turn 7 combo, it does not really matter what you play on turn 8. Best thing to do is prepare for the turn 10 Betrug combo. If by now your handsize is below 8 try to build it up again till 9. Not playing anything here can be often a good option as your opponent is struggling with you board anyway..
If you did not manage to get the turn 7 combo, taunts or big threats such as Sylvanas Windrunner and Enhanced Dreadlord can be played here to ad value to N'Zoth, the Corruptor .
If you do not have the turn 10 combo late game it is best to keep pressure with Bloodreaver Gul'dan or N'Zoth, the Corruptor . It does not matter if you wont create a full board with these cards as the minions they will summon are already big threats on their own.
Deathrattle Package supported by N'Zoth, the Corruptor :
Dr. Morrigan × 1, Mechanical Whelp × 1, Sylvanas Windrunner × 1, Enhanced Dreadlord × 2, Scrapyard Colossus × 1, Khartut Defender × 2, Plagued Protodrake × 1
Demon Package supported by Bloodreaver Gul'dan :
Aranasi Broodmother × 2, Fel Lord Betrug × 1 Enhanced Dreadlord × 1, Circus Amalgam × 2 and the 5/5 Dreadlord token with lifesteal.
Minion type Package supported by N'Zoth, God of the Deep:
This deck has demons, mechs, 1 dragon, 1 elemental (plus its token) and the Circus Amalgam × 2. So it fills the board exactly.
Love the deck, i play a similar deck but with quest, and cthun! Cthun gives you good t5 options, and a reliable wincon once you hit fatigue- playing last piece when you hit fatigue and quest hero power for 0cost cthun vs deck disrupters!
Cthun is mostly just a personal favorite, but I AM curious as to why you dont use quest? Really helps you get the fatties out of your hand later on!
Good to hear you like it. The quest is a perfect adiition to the deck indeed, unfortunately I do not own it yet. I like the idea of a 0 cost c'thun. If I ever have the quest I will try your version.
It sometimes help to get a cheaper combo and big minions are cheaper to play too. But I you want to Kanrethad is an excellent replacement. I do not have him. Another protodrake or colossus are good options as well. As they benefit both N'Zoths.
Deck of Chaos seems like a dead card, any replacement suggestion?
Kanrethad Ebonlocke?
Good deck, but so many Token druids, pala and secret mage in wild.
Thanks for a guide, at what rank did you test it?
I am at gold 5. Basically win alot against slower decks, highlander decks and quest priest etc. Token druid is a problem and mech pala also.
