Straightforward deck. Has enough healing to push warriors to fatigue, then continues on with Archivist Elysiana.
Barista Lynchen from turn 10 onwards with Omega Agent puts in a lot of pressure.
SN1P-SN4P is a very flexible card, and it's microbots can supplement EVIL Genius and getting Lackeys. However Voodoo Doll is the preferred target. You also have activators in Mortal Coil and Shadow Bolt.
SN1P-SN4P provides Zilliax with a boost to it's healing.
Twilight Drake and Mountain Giant are typical Handlock stuff to put in early pressure.
I find this deck quite fun to play, and familiar, but different enough to be it's own!
This deck has no early game or control for it. can't get to the late game to pull of the combos listed.
Its a better deck with some burst im running Leeroy and 1 soulfire
Played against this a few timess... It's a poor man's control deck.. decks like shudderwock control shaman show how weak control warlock is in this meta. I have not seen any since about rank 8 which says something- now at rank 3 with my shaman.
Don't really get the EVIL Genius inclusion, the only good target for it is Voodoo Doll but that seems way too narrow to include it.
I know it seems like it's not worth it, but it's proven to be quite valuable in the games i've had! The Lackeys are quite strong, and I needed another activator for Voodoo Doll outside of just Mortal Coil. The Microbots from SN1P-SN4P have also been a good target, and i've found lethal off of it from eating any random minion for the 2 damage dude.
If it's not your spice, i'd maybe say replacing the Voodoo Doll package for the Discard Package that was said in the other comment :D
This deck is pure garbage.
Agreed. Played against it twice yesterday. It is very weak.
Control lock has been one of my favourite decks since the dark days of cubelock, its great to see a fresh decklist! Love the doll synergy with EVIL Lackey, 2 lackeys feels great. I've adapted it into a more mid-rangey style with a discard package replacing some of the removal.
-2 Shadowbolt
-1 Elysiana
-1 Siphon Soul
-1 Spellbreaker
-1 Twisting Nether
+2 Shriek - cheap early game removal
+2 Soulfire - shadow bolt which can be used for burn
+2 Soulwarden - adds all discarded stuff back to hand. If a soul warden discards a soulwarden there is infinite value.
I love those changes to it! If I had the Soulwardens i'd give it a shot. Shriek irregardless is an interesting sideboard choice should token or zoo based decks become prominent.
I've always been hesitant with random discard mechanics. My luck with rolling dice has never looked good, but Shriek is a controlled discard, so I can deal with that!
Appreciate the feedback!
