Control priest I've put together that has a pretty good chance against all the current rank 1 meta decks. Control the board through removal up to turn 5 before starting to play minions and getting massive value out of archmage vargoth, catrina Muerte and big deathrattles in the late game with resurrections and Zerek's cloning gallery.
- Lots of removal for any deck. SW:Pain for removing small hunter and paladin minions before they can magnetize/scavenging hyena/dire frenzy them, and SW:Death for when mage plays turn 4 giant and forbidden words for 4 attack minions.
- Lots of silence for mech hunters and mech paladins.
- Coffin Crasher is a big minion threat and can also cheat out 6 of the cards in the deck, especially mechanical whelp saving you having to spend 6 mana on a 2/2.
- Mech in the deck counter warriors Dyn-o-matic, and synergise well with Zilliax for big heals.
- Most brawls will always leave something up, and you can normally get a warrior to use them both before using both mass resurrections. Most minions are out of range of warpath, even if used 5 times.
- Turn 4 silence and turn 5 board clears for token druids.
- Weaponised pinata is probably the weakest card in the deck but is something to play turn 4, is a mech for synergies and gives you a card.
Token druid can be tough if you don't get clears/convincing infiltrator by turn 3 or 4.
Look for Northshire Cleric and any single target removal in your mulligan.

i play a similar deck also with coffin crusher and cloning gallery, wich is kinda underrated in this meta.
you need rotten applebaum in this deck cause its has 110% synergy with the whole theme of this deck, its works great with coffin crasher, with gallery and with resurrection. Taunt + 4 Heal.
you dont need 4 silence in your deck and you dont nee northshire cleric, just put in 2 x loot hoarder and 2 x evil conscripter. both with deathrattle. You can also change 1 x Pinata for 1 x safeguard. (taunt, deathrattle + mech)
-the answer to aggro isnt always removal., if you have more board presence early you dont need to removal or silence every shit.

Thanks for the feedback. Rotten applebaum is a good addition and will probably try swapping out my holy novas.
I'm trying to keep away from diluting the resurrection pool though with cards like loot hoarder and madame lazul (I had dead ringer in at one point but got rid of it.) I feel as long as you can get to turn 5 with a clear board you're in a good position.
I also had Grave Horror but even with all the spells it was a bit too slow.
I think this deck has a great core but I've really struggled with the last 4/6 to finish it with to be honest so was hoping to hear other peoples thoughts, so thank you for you reply.
just give it a try, im playing deathratlle / resurrect priest 3 Months in a row nearly every day and im now rank 5 with 70% winrate just because i put all these early game minions in my deck. the little servants give you early boardpresence and are responsible for the fact that you reach turn 9 without hoping for the perfect draw every round -> removal / AOE
its a classic Priest mistake to think "I need removal / AOE" all the time, you dont need to use removal..if you have a board to trade and also your opponent has to deal with your small minions.
To be proactive ist the best defense, also as a priest.
and btw, Madame Lazul is a great card and a perfect 3 drop for priest

Why not swap Rotten for the Pinatas and keep Holy Nova
I think all 3 cards have merit in the deck depending what class you're playing. Holy Nova is only really worth it against aggro decks though, and in my personal experience I'm facing far more warrior, Hunter and Mage than Druid or Shaman. Like I say pinata is the weakest card in the deck but turn 5 it does dodge dyn-o-matic though which keeps pressure up against warrior. On a personal level too I like the little bit of fun rng that it adds to the deck.

I was wondering what you think about utilizing spirit of the dead and bwonsamdi. I've been trying to make them work but often feels too slow
I also thought about experimenting with at least spirit of the dead, especially for the cloning gallery. Spirit of the dead is a terrible card though if you get it in your opening hand, especially if you don't play any low cost minions like me. I'm not sure even if you do play Lazul and novice engineer you want to shuffle low cost minions back into your deck because you need to be drawing your big cards ready for turn 5.
I think once every 10 games you might get a big Bwonsamdi play but they'd be dead cards in your deck otherwise.
I’ve found that with extra arms, the spirit can be a good target since it’s 1 mana for 3 health and stealth. If you can get some taunts down then those can snowball unless they can remove the spirit. But early spirits clutter up your deck so it’s hard to make a spirit play unless you have drawn bwonsamdi already.
