So his deck is built around the Star Aligner obviously but trying to combined that with one of my favourite priest archetypes Resurrection Priest. I'm not a pro player just a casual fan who generally yo-yos between Rank 15-5 so if anyone is looking for how this operates above that I can't say. (If anyone finds out I'd love to know). Also I play hearthstone exclusively on my iphone so again probably make more mistakes than most and unfortunately dont use deck tracker so I have no information as far as wins losses but I do know that I managed to win 6 straight games the other day from Rank 9-10 and it felt pretty powerful when your draw goes well which is more often than you think. Mostly its just a lot of damn fun!

Combos:

The main combo will be having a 7 health minion on board and on turn 10 drop Injured Blademaster with Circle of Healing followed by Star Aligner which will trigger its battlecry dealing 7 damage across the board and to your opponents face.

You can also you Mass Resurrection to put up some taunts and buy you some time to heal with drop a Star Aligner. This is also the reason for Catrina Muerte

The reason for the Spirit of the Dead is again for a similar reason, f you can have a 7 health minion die and its shuffled into the deck. When it comes into your hand at one cost this allows you to play it plus Star Aligner. I have only put 1 in the deck because I am worried about polluting the res pool and I tend to play this when they've exhausted board clears, to bait out board clears like Brawl or if I'm losing tempo.

Seance is for use with Catrina Muerte

Mulligan:

In this order Always Hold

1. Injured Blademaster or

2. Hench-Clan Shadequill or

3. Archmage Vargoth

these will be your early game and allow you to get board presence and do a fairly effective job of holding the board. Also having Archmage Vargoth die early allows the double resurrection combo on turn 9.

If you are lucky to hold Injured Blademaster already: Keep Circle of Healing as well. Especially on coin bringing out a 4 / 7 on turn 2 creates a problem for a lot of opponents who have to use a lot of resources to kill it or struggle with tempo.

Vs Mage: I'm not going to lie this is a tricky matchup and you will more likely than not lose if they get a perfect curve. Ideally, Shadow Word: Death is a must keep to contest an early Mountain Giant. You can also combo shadow word death nicely with Archmage Vargoth to take out a couple of Mountain Giant.

Vs Warrior: The key to this matchup is trying to bait out their Brawl and their Omega DevastatorWarpath struggles to get there with your minions mostly being 7 health and the same applies with Dyn-o-matic, especially if you have a heal in hand.

Vs Hunter, Murloc Shaman, Warlock and Druid (or any other deck you think might have lots of tokens): Keep Mass Dispel first and foremost. Especially with any of the board clears like Shadow Word: DeathMass HysteriaForbidden Words or Holy Nova.

Vs Control Shaman : This is another tricky match-up because of hex and if they are able to save them to hex both your Catrina Muerte and also put a hex into your res pool things can get very difficult so then its just a matter of how lucky they get with RNG or how early they get Hagatha the Witch. Equally though you may be able to pull the Combo that I mentioned above even with a frog in the pool so its not the end of the world.

 Replacements:

The main tech slots for this deck are the 2nd Mass Dispel and the Vivid Nightmare. You could go for more value generation if your feeling greedy by adding another Seance or a second taunt like Violet Warden for more protection.

As mentioned in the comments below it is also possible to drop one of these cards and tech in an Auchenai Soulpriest to add more potential board clear with Circle of Healing  if required but this will obviously dilute the resurrection pool.

I did initially think of Amani War Bear but in a deck with some already expensive cards I wanted to keep the curve low and I chose the Violet Warden because getting your holy nova to 3 damage is pretty nice against some of those token decks out there. That being said I may give this some testing.

As far as substitutions if anyone's missing a card and needs a replacement let me know and I'll brain storm.

Thoughts and Observations:

I'm still trying to work out any minor adjustments and am always happy to chat through any card changes but at the moment for what it does the decklist feels pretty tight apart from the two cards I mentioned above. I'm also happy to hear suggestions!

Edit - I've put in Auchenai Soulpriest for Vivid Nightmare which mostly sat dead in my hand
