Went from Rank 10 to FIRST TIME Legend.
Spammed alot of games and made some key changes adapting to meta.
Taking out Damaged Stegotron b/c its too slow at 6.
Putting in 2x Proud Defender since they 4 mana cost.
2x Omega medic actually helps alot vsing Hunters/Rogue. Flexibility of 3/4 body early game AND ability to gain 10hp later is critical
Edit : Just some quick pointers as I'm so surprised this has gained some traction.
Vs Tempo Rogue- dont be afraid to use forbidden words on early board minions such as southsea deckhand/dread corsair. Its an easy chocie to forbidden words the damn EVIL MISCREANT at 1 mana. Keep omega medic and drop it on 3. Anything helps to help you get to later stages. I always save and keep shadow word death in initial hand to counter edwin cheese.
Vs hunters - same concept really as above. your doing anything you can to survive early game. only difference is you have to think about saving forbidden words a bit more rather than just using it on the first thing you see since you should consider magnetize etc. Mass dispel is nice here. Another cute little trick if you know they have freezing trap. Send in your omega medic to attack for more hp at 10 mana crystal.
vs Mage - ill be honest this matchup sucks bad. The mountain giant non stop spam is nuts. Unless you get lucky shadow word death draws/mass hysteria. I've had a bad losing record vs this.
Vs warrior- generally speaking you are the one pressing the issue and being aggro. Most of the times you wont get the homerun shot with your Moshogg. So don't be afraid to settle with say innerfire/divine spirit a proud defender to make it a 14/12 mob and attacking him to get rid of his armor. Alot of it really comes down to luck of the draw. I.e - did they get double brawl? Did you mass rez the right targets. If im honest- ill say the matchup is slightly unfavorable because YOU need the one to get lucky to impose your will and win.
**ever since I hit legend I seen Mecha thun/Da Undatakah warriors.... as long as they dont have Archivist Elysiana I think its a winning matchup for us. Save Mass Dispel for Da undatakah cheese.
Vs token Druid- Again alot of it is draw based. Same deal. Plop down early minions to try and clear as much as you can. Pray for timely Holy Nova/Mass hysteria. With most of these matchups if you survive to round 9 and plop a Mass Rez its pretty much over. Of course pray more for a archmage rez for a double rez too ^^
Vs zoo lock - beats out zoo lock pretty nicely. Forbidden words on magic carpet is pretty huge.
Shoutout to kiwiinbacon + Jeleniowatyy for the videos
what about this ?
out - Inner Fire x 1 , Omega Medic x2 , Mosh'ogg Enforcer × 1
in - Batterhead × 1 , Mass Dispel × 1 Holy Nova × 1 Shadow Madness × 1

Lol I just saw the your youtube video(the video you linked),
You made so many misplays that I don't think you should critique the original deck and maybe try to watch other people play the deck first and learn to pilot it.
thx to u'r advice
seems legit
Good deck but if you have -10 luck like me you probably should play a different deck
BETTER THEN THIS

4 games 1 win 3 losses absolute trash if you dont have a 4 or 5 drop you lose on turn 6-7 even if you do you still lose
I really like the deck, because it is something different to work with. I played against 1 Priest in the last 50 games (just checked my tracker, 22 hunters)... I experimented a bit: dropping the 2 medics + 2 defenders for 2 hymns + 2 seances. The idea behind this is that it doesn't hurt your win condition (having a strong dead pool). You can hymn before 10 mana which in cases where you have a bad/slow turn helps a lot, you can also hymn Vargoth if you need it. Having Seance for Catrina is a big deal against warriors. Generally both versions work so thumbs up! :)
thanks for sharing mate -- I definitely think adding and taking away based on what you are playing is healthy.
keep in mind at the time of this thread- tempo rogue was all over the place pre-nerf
Added in 2x Seance, removed one Proud Defender and one Omega Medic. Seance allows you to be more flexible. Catrine, Vargoth, and Medic all good targets.
oooh nice addition
😳😳
So, Rank 10, 6 matches in, lost 5. 2 games with 2 inner fire and 2 divine spirit on my hand but no minions cuz control decks like shaman have allways hagatha scheme since turn 1 and both hex on hand, one game lost after 20 turns (11 9 mana turns) without getting mass ress, other 3 matches lost vs aggro cuz they never run out of board, even if they trade all their board to my taunts. I dont know, you really need good luck to play this deck.
First off, it's called John Gabriel's Greater Internet Dickwad Theory. Secondly it's referencing people acting like assholes in 2004 UT because it's a FPS game, and those tend to breed people who spew obscenities all the time. It has literally nothing to do with having discourse, disagreeing with people, or providing negative feedback.
If anytime someone comes along and says "this streamer who spams threads and mass-markets low-effort youtube videos of gameplay is not good to watch"; then that isn't ANYTHING at all to do with being a "dickwad"...it's called feedback. If deez4477 had said "this guy sucks balls lolol!!!11 what a dumptruck fire streamer." Then you might have had some credence to your response. But he didn't respond that way.
In short: you're a child who thinks that anytime someone provides negative feedback or disagrees with you you probably call them a troll, shill, fanboy, or any other equally dumb deflection tool. Grow up, stop idolizing streamers (and for that matter celebrities), stop spending your entire day on game sites, and get outside and get some social interaction so that way when someone DOES provide you negative feedback in the future; you can actually take it, or respond civilly and succinctly instead of just saying "your acting like a dickwad, now I'm going to bury my head in the sand!"
Sorry, little man. But etiquette isn't idolizing anybody. And actually, you basically just proved Gabe's theory 100% right. Ja ne!
any replacement for catrina=?
I don't have her either and have been using YSERA just to get a feel for how the deck plays. I know YSERA doesn't do the same job, but its a tough minion to remove, gives useful cards and is ok in the Rezz pool. Plus you can do the health doubling thing quite well with her.
I have enough dust to craft 2 legendary cards, and was waiting to see how the new meta shapes up before crafting. The GM tournament this weekend should be a good place to check out the latest deck tech.
That said, the deck is fun to play, there is some interesting decision making and I enjoy the ' wall' mechanic. I have found it gets off to a slow start ( sometimes keeping medic is required) but once you have drawn a good taunt on 4 or 5 you are in the game!
thanks!
I got some issues with murloc shaman decks.
Anyone tried swapping out Ziliax for Lady in White? I have had some success.
Edit only good early game. She is completely useless if you already drew your high cost minions.
