The faster post-buffs meta is making it more difficult to succeed with Bomb Hunter on a budget. A faster tempo plan is needed over a slower Whelp plan, but it can still climb to Legend with this new approach.

Before the nerfs and buffs, this archetype was probably the best budget deck around. I played the previous list from rank 5 to rank 3 without losing a single game at the beginning of May season.

Posted May 28, 2019 (RoS Rogue Nerfs)While I enjoyed climbing other parts of the ladder with this deck, I have to say that it is particularly frustrating to play against the population at Rank 6 (~100 games). Hunter, Shaman, and Rogue account for 50% of my opponents and these are all poor matchups in my experience. Favorable matchups (mage, warrior) seem to be nonexistant. While I'm not a master Hearthstone player by any stretch, I don't find a lot of room to maneuver when I'm dead on turn 6. Below are some stats from my recent frustration:

I understand the need/usefulness of having budget decks, and I for one appreciate it immensely. But as we "evolve" our collections it would be interesting to add something "more expensive" to these decks. Right?
What would be your immediate "expensive additions" to this deck? Epics and Legendaries alike.

Posted May 18, 2019 (Rise of Shadows)Not worth it. Nine Lives is a better fit to the slower Mech Hunter that does not run cards such as Mecharoo, Explodinator, and Replicating Menace. They fill your Deathrattle discover pool with low-value minions.
