This list took me from rank 3 to top 250 Legend. The gameplan is control with bursting down opponent at the end while controlling the board and chipping away at the opponent with shadowform. It can beat tempo rogue and control warrior if you draw good but warrior a lot of the time has too much armor gain to deal with. If you get northshire down against rogue and control it with wild pyro and scaleworm, you can win.
SIDE NOTE: I tried replacing Prophet Velen with Archmage Vargoth and found better results! He's more flexible and still allows for the 10 damage burst at a cheaper cost!
SIDE SIDE NOTE: Try to replace the 2nd Shadowform for a Zilliax and let me know some good results
Check out Dekkster's video here where he explained how to use the deck and showcased it!
Check out Jeleniowatyy's video with a slightly different list, where he replaced the squashling and holy nova with shadow madness and zilliax which is teched against rogue!
Kiwiinbacon made a video showcasing the deck! Check it out here --
Warrior is actually impossible to beat with this deck for me at least. Any tips?
42% win percentage at rank 10. This needs too perfect a draw to work. it stomps agro usually, loses to anything tempo or control. Cannot beat mech hunter or any sort of meta warrior.
Could you send some of your HSreplays? I'd love to take a look and see what you're doing wrong, some games yes are unwinnable and you can get a bad string of unwinnable games but how are you going about piloting the deck?
The deck has a 39.6% 25 to legend win percentage on hsreplay with a sample of 900 games, I've managed to get to 47% over 50 games. As I said, agro it can totally beat, but it will lose to any warrior that has a turn 7 boom. It doesn't have enough removal or healing to deal with any BIG decks or the value in mech decks.
You simply need too many pieces to align for it to have any consistency
Please tell me, how to find out the winrate, find a page in the hsreplay of a particular deck?
You go to HSReplay.net, paste the deck code into the search bar and it'll give you the win rate of the deck with those cards.

Been looking for a new hero to learn, and I only needed 400 dust to create this one! So happy I can finally start learning priest! Thanks a lot for sharing it. :)
Does it work without Alexstrasza? Incase what should i play as a sub?
Not really, she's really essential for the deck to work, crowd roaster would be the sub imo
I don't get the usage of Shadowform here. Why do you want it at all? Alexstrasza + your dmg spells is your winco.
It's to control the board during the game - it helps again as a sort of stabilizer, but you could maybe replace it for another squash and an auchenai
Really fun deck to play with! Thx!
Does this deck work without shadowform? I don't really want to spend all my dust crafting two epics..
How about using ziliax and vargoth instead?
at heart it's a dragon tempo priest with a shadow form win condition so you could prolly make something work by cutting the burst and going for divine spirit inner fire and some beefy minions. It has lots of draw and dragons have decent health so it could definitely work
Vargoth is essential, and zilliax instead of a shadowform would also work as sustain.
I've always loved trying shadowform priest but never found one that wasn't just better with something else in place of the shadowform's, hope this works! Will give it a try. I'm currently sitting at rank 3 w/ 4 stars so perfect for your results!
Nice deck, really good against token druids. Vargoth is a nice budget replacement for Vellen. Kinda not enough dragons tho. Kinda wish those twilight drakes to get back in standart... Four dragons is sad (I have no Alexstraza, so this makes my situation even sadder).
Seems like doesnt worth it to run two shadow forms right?
Maybe you run a Zilliax instead, that's what I thought
I still think that Dragons are not the way to go with shadowpriest. Well I will keep theorycrafting about shadowpriest, will tell you if I find a better version of it.
