my personal, optimal version of true token druid or "portal druid".

I think rat is a liability in so many ways. Yes, it is also great and it often turns out to be so, but it has anti synergy with portal, and also you can really mess yourself up if you get something like faceless lackie into doomsayer.

For this reason I have included the card "crystal power" not only does it have good synergy with the deck, but it has a decent removal Vs. aggressive decks like murloc shaman, but it also is a heal Vs. bomb warrior and hunter.

You play this with stelladris down and you then get another removal and heal back to hand again. An invaluable card right now, and this is why I think this version is the optimal version of this specific style of token deck.

The decks that run force of nature over portal are more minion focussed and therefore I classify these decks as Mid Range or Mid Range Treant, over it being a True Token deck like this one.

Still though if you really want to get into it, the treant decks are techically token decks, and this token deck is technically a treant deck also. I just think that there is enough difference between them that they are bordering on their own thing.

I would not be surprised if a more clear split develops between these two decks.

PS: I'm aware this looks just like the standard version and I'm in no way claiming I invented it or anything. This is just the beginning of my own take on it. So far I have just changed 1 card, and I might not change any more.

I do feel however the lackie thing needs brought to attention as you will eventually draw a doomsayer and it will cost you a game. I think crystal power is better in this version of the deck.
