Hey guys i wanna show you my 65%+ winrate ros mage deck :)
Mulligan Guide
Messenger Raven (always)
Mountain Giant (always)
Arcane Intellect (always)
Acidic Swamp Ooze (rogues)
Daring Fire-Eater (always)
Doomsayer (mostly vs aggros)
Polymorph (vs decks with giants)
Card Choices ↓
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Big Game Hunter - this card is just insane to kill big minions / expamles ↓
Arch-Villain Rafaam Blastmaster Boom
Edwin VanCleef Scavenging Hyena
Crowd Roaster Archivist Elysiana
There is no reason to craft him if you miss him :) its replaceable
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Astromancer - i think 1 copy of it is okay because its just rng card
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mountain Giant - must have card i think, when you play him turn 4/5 and then just play conjurers calling its ussualy gg
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ray of Frost - very uselful while pushing damage because you dont have to trade enemy board just freeze them and attack face
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kalecgos - as you can see i dont run this card because i think its too slow and you can discover it from Messenger Raven
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cards to try if you miss anything -
Rotten Applebaum Arcane Keysmith
Thanks for upvotes and videos :)
7 mana pool minions are not very good
agaisnt token druids in most time you prefer play Frost Nova because of 2/2 deathrattle on minions, example when you place giant + conjurer's, you need to freeze the board, or agaisnt zoo you can doomsayer + ice nova turn 5 to mostly win the game. Also two astromancers is too much with jan'alai, too weak agaisnt aggro and when your hand is empty. Deck is ar,leady doing good agaisnt warriors, no need in resources. If you wanna fuck warriors play dragon version, not change this. This one is balanced arleady vs aggro and control matchups, but mostly dragon mage is better because if you got coin + book you can place giant on turn 3 and fuck the opponnent mostly. Ray of frost is very good in mirrors and aggro matchups. I suppose Kalecgos is prefered in dragon version, or its too slow.
Result: you are trying to place more "resources" when you remove power of creation that is very good agaisnt warriors and bgh, that is cool in mirrors and agaisnt Edwin VanCleef. I hope i adjusted enough arguments that your changes in deck are really bad
So whats the general vibe with this deck? Worth crafting? Opinions here are undecisive I'd say
matters how big is your colection, its good deck but not the best one for ladder now :)
I always seem to lose to Tempo Rogue unless I get Mountain Giant into Conjurer's Calling for 2 of the Priest 7/8 Taunt minions quite difficult for them to deal with that. You literally just never get to turn 7 to be able to cast Flamestrike against Token Druid or Tempo Rogue was even contemplating Blast Wave for that reason.
That's actually quite interesting! I'll definitely try replacing 1x Polymorph for 1x Blast Wave! =)
After playing this deck for a few more days, I can say it, I'm hooked! I love maximizing the value from calling. and yes of course getting multiple rag while quite hard is insanely satisfying. I made an update video shwocasing the new version of the deck, I really hope you enjoy.
I can't win even a game with this deck at rank 3-5. (0W-10L)
Well so far, I'm quite happy with the deck, now played 6 games with it , 5 victories and not only against basic card noobs BUT loss against Murloc Shaman. Haven't played against Bomb Warrior yet, mostly against other tempo mages and had no problem winning. And yes without 2× daring fire eater Jan'alai would be almost Impossible to activate before turn 9.
Im really sorry, but that deck is the worst useless piece of sheeet i ever saw. Totally not working.... 65% win rate ? What are you smoking dude ? Its maybe 20% or less....
im smoking gajna all day long
I run a similar version of this deck, but much better suited against aggro I think.
-1 keysmith +1 zilliax if you have him. Keysmith is typically used for 8 armor against aggro and counterspell against combo.

would love a wild version also :)
Thats simply not true. I played a similar list without Daring Fire-Eater since release and I can count the games on one hand, where Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk would have been activated. 8 Pings in a list with such a tight manacurve is whole much more one would imagine!
I'm not sure about Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk in this deck...
I played A LOT of odd mage before Shadows so I really fell in love with Jan'alai... But in this deck I find it really hard to get him out. I can RARELY afford using my hero power now since those 2 mana are needed elsewhere. I'm only using the hero power as a turn 3 Daring Fire-Eater-combo. On all other turns you have other cards to play to keep the tempo up..
I admit that the Khadgar + Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk-combo is the ultimate wet dream. But it's a dream that never comes true...
I must say, I play another Mage Deck with only 2 Daring Fire Eaters and Jan'alai and it works pretty well!
Sure, you will never play it on turn 7, but this is a Deck that can go the distance, and with double fire eaters u only need 2 more hero powers.. it will work! :)
jan'alai is actually pretty good even without upgrades on the hero power. as long as you get the game to last a while, it'll do the job.
@neSium @kiwiinbacon
Sure, I agree! Jan'alai is perhaps one of the strongest late game cards and I'll probably keep him. But with all bomb warriors out there, pushing the game to late game is a scary thought.. I often find myself in the need of more push in mid game and in those situations Jan'alai just sits there in my hand.. just staring at me...
Greetings traveler! I like the idea of changing a common take on conjurer mage to more control oriented one with Ragnaros the firelord. Imo during few days meta changed a little bit to more aggressive one with token druid beeing one of the most dominating decks atm. Thats why i came up with idea make my own small twist to the deck (aka deck doctor). If you would like to see deck doctored deck here is the video. Please share your feedback if you like this idea. Cheers and may the good RNG be with you!
From Rack 13 str8 to rank 15.🤣🤣🤣🤣
