Token Druid is really aggressive and can easily out-aggro the other aggro decks if it has perfect draw. Control matchups can get rough. No worries, tokens can still come out on top.
A perfect mulligan will see Acornbearer, Crystalsong Portal or EVIL Cable Rat, and Wispering Woods in your hand. Wrath is also incredibly handy to deal with early aggression.
Basically, you want to make your hand big for a turn 4 (or 3, with the coin and the perfect situation) Wispering Woods into 7 minions. If you don't have the card, simply build the widest board you can. Most opponents will notice the threat immediately, and will deal with your minions as quickly as possible. If you're left with a nice board, ideally, you want to pump up big with Blessing of the Ancients, Power of the Wild, or Savage Roar and strike face. If you fail to have any of those, or know you won't survive, Soul of the Forest is one magical card. It's basically a second chance.
The Forest's Aid is an insane backup late in control matchups. How good is twinspell? While there's not as much board wipes as there were pre-rotation, warrior, shaman, and mage have a couple of spells (so 4 in most decks, plus possible creation spells) that can be a right pain. If the game goes long enough, you should be able to build a board. With the Deathknights all rotated from standard, the end-game isn't as powerfully dominated by hero upgrades. Warrior still has Dr. Boom, Mad Genius, which, if he is summoned, will most likely see this deck lose unless you can swing for lethal the next turn.
Really fun and effective deck. I'm excited to see how it evolves as the meta settles
I've seen people ask if EVIL Cable Rat is worth running. In my opinion, yes. The reasoning lies in the hand. You can play the 2 drop then immediately replace its spot in your hand. This helps Wispering Woods be the best turn 4 play that it can be. The lackey battlecry can be quite handy, and adds another body to your board if you need it. Some prefer Hench-Clan Hogsteed. Effectively, it's better value for 2 mana, but it doesn't help fatten that hand. Also, lackeys are rad.
Would Cenarius fit in this deck?
While he would be an amazing card to find in your hand at the exact right time, he would likely be an annoyance in your hand during most situations. If in hand, it nullifies the amazing benefits that Crystalsong Portal offers.
I've gotten Cenarius a *lot* through Crystalsong Portals. I actually had three instances of Cenarius in one game thanks to a flobbidinus floop that came through the portal as well.
Been playing this deck for a decent bit. Only difference I made was swapping a Portal for a Tending Tauren - it's a little on the expensive side and admittedly it can clog your hand, but it's a good drop for re-establishing a board or for buffing a board when you don't have any of the buff spells in hand.
Really fun deck, and I'm honestly surprised how long it takes the deck to run out of steam. Forest's Aid turns out is stupid good in the control matchup since it lets you remake a board that's been wiped with Brawl - only wish it was like 7 mana because the only way you can buff it is with Power of the Wild and it's rare that you still have a copy in hand or in deck by the late game.
Can I fit Wardruid Loti here?
I'm not sure if it's worth it, but he's nice to crack from Crystalsong Portal. Maybe try swap out a Swipe for him?
From 7 to 4 so far, I've never hit legend but I think I'm going to give it a go with this deck. Super fun around a 65% WR with it, thanks!
Okay so... I wasn't sure if i should craft this deck as I didn't open stalladris or any crystalsong portals. Then i crafted it
I went 12 and 1 from like 16 to 11 and the only loss was in a mirror match.
you've created a monster, your deck is amazing
Nice one! That chest, the one with an extra golden common, is not far away!
Glad the deck has helped you. I quite enjoy creating monsters. :)
I really like the idea behind this deck. Being able to sustain trough multiple boardclear is something that was never really possible but with the portal as well as the Aid, I think that this deck can even compete against warlocks and warriors with a full set of clears.
I had a ton of fun playing this so I made a video showcasing the deck in action. I hope you all enjoy!
You're really annoying the Hearthstone community with your annoying videos. When you hit legend hit us back.
You're really annoying the Hearthstone community with your discourteous comments. When you get polite, get back.
Why dont appreciate the time the guy spend on it to make the video for those who like to see it. If you dont want to see it then dont click it. No reason to be an asshole over it. And when you say they are annoying, speak for yourself.
Going to build this today I think. I watched a friend playing the same deck on twitch last night, it looked like a fun deck.
have you seen the other version that has wardruid loti and doesn't use the portals? it's a more expensive deck, but it actually has a higher winrate.
If I build this though, I can then get the extras to build the other one as well and test them both out... just really on the fence about crafting loti, so wanna talk to some people that have used this deck. can't find a version of it on here though unfortunately.
here is a link though to the deck tracker page if you wanna check the deck out mate.

That's a nice looking setup. Dendrologist and Wardruid Loti are two of my favourite cards (after an extra Keeper Stalladris) to crack from a Crystalsong Portal. Could be well worth throwing them in! That said, Crystalsong Portal makes that deadly turn 4 Wispering Woods far more likely to occur. It's that age old argument: consistancy or power? Definitely worth playing alternate versions and figuring what works best for you.
yeah dude. I think I will craft the cards for both versions as they both look like a load of fun and just different enough.
that way a have a lot of tools as well so whichever way the deck ends up going, I can adjust.
I've watched both decks being played and I can't pick a favourite.
Really cool deck. Was a fan of token druid since Witchwood. I really like how crazy this deck can get, if you succeed in keeping minions on board.
Yep knew this deck was good went 10 - 3 in the brawl thanks for the games. Kind of sad Hearthstone = Warriorstone now lol...
Thinking about building this, it's a proper token deck. looks nasty as well.
I was thinking of going with the more treant based one though just for variety and to catch people off guard. it's a little more expensive, but mostly uses the same base.
Go for it!
I mentioned in another reply some of my favourite cards to pull from Crystalsong Portal. Treespeaker is another. The biggest downside is that, on the turn you play Treespeaker, you can only attack with 2/2 treants, not the 5/5s. I've actually found him a better play when I have only a few treants and struggling for board control. If I'm left with 5+ treants on the board I can, usually, pump and swing for lethal.
