Absolute sleeper deck. Dragons get absolutely massive. Spell generation with witchdoctors are great, lots of anti aggro tools. Tons of Thekal synergy. Drawing thekal is basically an auto win. Most aggro decks in standard atm are using 2 health so consecration knocks them out. No 1-drops but the deck heavily makes up with it with rush and tons of life regen. CAll to adventure for Kangor is always huge, especially if paired with Lightforged Blessing. Will make full guide at 25 upvotes.
This deck is SO OP! dragons get really big so easily/fast :)
Tons of Thekal synergies you say . Plz name some besides NOZARI.
Crystalsmith Kangor, Lightforged Blessing
Crystalsmith Kangor, Lightforged Blessing and Shirvallah in combo if u can (they are among the best), besides Thekal is the best counter against alextraza...
Early days but currently 5 and 1 so pretty happy. Fun deck to play and not coming up against anything similar which is nice when every other deck is so predictable. No Kangor or Roasters, only 1 Glowstone and Wyrmguard. 2 x Aldor Peacekeepers coming in very handy as are Acolyte's of Pain and Wild Pyromancers as per Rino's suggestion. Vargoth helps too and the Archivist Elysiana is a must as most games with this deck go deep so it's nice to avoid fatigue. Oh what a joy to finally beat those bloody Mech Bomb Warriors.
To be honest, this specific Dragon deck is not viable. I did however build upon it and taken several switches out that helped me beat aggro and late game.

===========================
This deck is very strong early game, using Call to Adventure to get a 5/4 Pyromancer or 4/4 Cathedral Gargoyle to help sustain the early damage and last until Dragon Speaker. I also added Archmage Vargoth to combo with turn 8 Consecration to deal 4 damage to all enemies or if you get Avenging Wrath to deal 16 damage on turn 10. Also [cardArchivist Elysiana[/card] has saved me against Warrior or Rogue until late game, I always had cards in my deck where my opponent ran out early. Hope this helps!
Wat can i swap Archivist Elysiana for?
Honestly the main reason why I added her is because of Bomb Warrior or late game rush decks that go into fatigue. I don't believe that you can replace her if you want to counter those types of decks but if you have Tirion Fordring or Crystalsmith Kangor they will do. See what your going up against mostly and adapt accordingly!
HSReplay Dragon Paladin 43 % win......-.-
Not craft this crap, mech pala is 1000 time best!
Thanks my dude this deck is awesome.
This deck is awesome!! just being able to use a single dragon speaker is usually enough to come back on the board, and anything extra just seems to flat out win games. the deck seems to be doing quite decent against bomb warrior due to the fact you can heal for ridiculous amounts!
I made a video showcasing the deck in all of its glory, I really hope you all enjoy it
Get lost showcasing other people's deck. You can't even hit legend.
Really nice offer from you, but unfortunately, I suspect anyone who says "I don't do nothing bad" is grossly overestimating their own skill/experience level.
Your advice to him is the advice I always give to friends who got into HS, recognize your mistake and learn from it, it's the only way to improve - I am a player with some winnings from tournaments (not HCT level of course, but still) and I know I make mistakes, choose bad lineups/matchups, go on tilt or whatever...it's important to recognize those mistakes and be able to admit when you're in the wrong - a skill a lot of HS players lack.
In addition I'd say watch other players. Watch a video or a Twitch livestream of a player who's better than you are playing the deck you want to play. And try to see how they do it.
Also keep in mind - and this is something I tell my wife - even the BEST players have a win rate that's a little over 60%. ONE mistake in a game (and I usually know it when I make one) can cost you the whole game. Sometimes you can recover but, when you're playing at level 10 or higher, that one mistake is usually all it takes to lose.
I couldn't agree more! I am losing a few games with this deck as well, but that doesn't mean I am giving up on it. You can swap out cards if you feel like it and make it entirely your own. And yeah, 1 mistake and you're pretty much out of the game. I see it as a learning phase when I am losing, I gain experience with the deck and the game that way. :)
Im not sure what all of you guys are on about. I just changed out the two Kings for cathedral gargoyles and am consistently climbing. rank 8 - rank 5 last night with about 55% win
Look at your opponents class at least before you mulligan maybe?
Exactly. I also added equality, conescration, wild pyromancer, 2 doomsayers, shrink ray 2x, time out 2x and Lay on Hands to cycle and to stall the game while you get value from the dragons (along with the gargoyles which help with aggro but also with weapon based classes like thief rogue). Reinforced the dragon synergy with another twilight drake and Ysera for control match ups. This is after a few hours of trying different versions and I think I am on the right path had a winning streak from rank 18 to 14 last night. It's not a high rank and I haven't played in a while but it seems with the amount of net decking at low ranks it's still a good result.
I've cut Glowstone technicians, the 4/11 taunts although I am not convinced about those yet, and the early game in general since you can't outpace aggro decks so I felt it's better to have the doomsayers give you some safe space to get to your dragons. Without call to adventure I also could't see running kangor to be worth it. It's quite a different from this version here
This deck is a piece of crap, zero early game, any type of fast deck eats it alive. Just terrible
Great deck! Full guide plz :)
A really nice deck. The only thing I am missing is Truesilver Champion to get an early removal / board control. But on the other hand, I wouldn't know what to drop. Maybe one Call to Adventure and the Arena Fanatic. Waht do you guys think?
