- Trade for board control early levels
- During the game, make a decision to go face, after this point, there is no going back. The hard part is realising when it is time to go face and when to fight for board control.
- If you have don't have another play, Spellbook Binder should be played even without spell damage.

Works great becuase hardly no one run healing
complete trash losing to everything
Very sweet list, love the spell damage package! Played a few games with the deck, check them out;
(Games start at 4:29)
Hey guys, check out this list i brewed
It runs similar to a control/hand mage, developing early Mountain Giants and Twilight Drakes, and gathers value through elemental synergy and Conjurer's Calling.
Try it out, and give your feedback and ideas!

you should add khadgar honestly that card would make your deck x2 better
I like the idea to design a Mage around Spell damage. I like the idea to send many burst. I like the idea to run many small spells that synergize well with spell damage and Archmage Antonidas. So I tried this deck. But I faced several problems in my games.
First, some cards have anti-synergy. For example Archmage Vargoth + every spell that can target any minion (e.g. Shooting Star, Frostbolt, Fireball, Ray of Frost). This card is only valuable with Arcane Missiles, Arcane Intellect, Cinderstorm.
Second, it is not so easy to keep the control of the board. The first step pointed by the author may sometime last the entire game, especially if the opponents runs many (quite big) minions in his deck. And if you have no small spells, it will be difficult to get Fireballs from Archmage Antonidas.
Third, Arcane Watcher can only attack when you have spell damages since the deck runs no silence. And those minions will clearly be the prior targets of your opponents. You cannot prevent this to happens since the deck runs no taunt and these minions have low HP. As a sequel, Arcane Watcher is often a dead card (in your hand or in the board). Why not considering cards like Dalaran Librarian or other silence cards ?
Fourth, there are no removal, no silence, so the deck is quite sensitive to big threats. So the deck works well if you get spell damage early + Arcane Watcher early to get trade and go face + hope to get your archmages not too late with the corresponding spells... This does not happens in every game...
I personally cannot win with this. I get get healed over with most decks and others just take me down faster then I can build up. I run out of fuel and it's GG
is spellzerker good in this deck. Rather have a mana addict or that elemental that generates spells
Deck feels a bit like playing in a Casino. Can be realy fun but realy frustrating if youre missile missing once again his final shot. Nice idea but not consistant at all.
The makings of a good deck are here, but it needs some major tweaking as a lot of the cards rarely pay off.
I'm having a really good time with it, even against Warrior and Rogue decks this deck does decent against, Don't let the others fool you, this is a top notch deck if you know how to manage RNG cards and work them to your advantage.
Whats most OP about this deck is its TILT factor, When you get a combo off that either wipes the board or does massive dmg in one turn with Archmage Vargoth the enemy feels like they just lost to RNG, and 7/10 times so far its made someone leave for me. (the other 3 were wins)
If you don't get a combo off, you're pretty much done though, I will admit that, you just have to play your cards right, use the twin spells with as little greed as possible and Hold board while you chip away at the enemy. Most people don't know to not attack Arcane Watcher when you don't have spell damage, so it basically has Taunt
LOL , I am 0 for 2 currently with this deck in brawl and I know how to navigate decks..... So... just a warning. I guess it depends which decks you go up against. I lost to a spell casting shaman and annoying infinite beasts hunter :)
*update ... I won one!!!!!! Things are looking up! :) lol
Final update... finished 2 - 3 ..... not too reliable.
Thank you for the deck. From 8 to 5 rank very fast.
it's pretty bad
This deck is garbage. Basically autolose to any warrior deck and since meta is rogue and warrior only, this cant work.
New murlock shaman destroys this deck
any replacement to bloodmage thanos?
Hey guys!
Just tried out this deck and I have to say it feels pretty strong considering you can play a 3 mana 5/6 :D. For me the most work did the notorious archmage vargoth which can do really insane stuff if you play the right stuff! I kinda owned a bomb warrior who did not stand a chance against me! I made a video from it so if you are interested to see the deck in action do hesitate to check it out!
Hope you can enjoy it :)
Thx for the upload of the demo game. Disregard the down votes. I don’t get why so many downvotes on the streamers posts especially their videos
keep it up I enjoy yours and kiwis videos
Thanks man I love to hear it. Some people are just mad that we post it here but what we can do I guess. Thanks for the kind words:)
This seems great!
