Ashes of Outland Cards List & Guide
Is Soularium required for the deck?
It's a niche card, but helps in some situations. Supposedly you can Soularium into Rafaam at turn 8, but I don't know if you still discard the cards or not.
Edit: Rafaam indeed replaces Soularium cards and you don't discard them.
I am just going to run this deck even though I have 0 magic carpet and am not making it (even though I have the dust for it and I prolly will eventually end out making it just not right now). I am aware there is no replacement for it. I am sure I will figure it out (raid leader).
Are murlocs that popular in standard these days to run 2 Hungry Crab? If they aren't which would be good 1 drop replacements?
Sadly they are. If you aren't playing against the shaman you still have the synergy with Hench-Clan Hogsteed.
According to my HSReplay stats i have met 1 shaman in my last 26 games. And that wasnt even a amurloc shaman. That is for standard between rank 10 to 5.
18 from my 26 games are against Token Druid/Bomb Warrior/Summon or Tempo Mage...
What i didnt realize until now that i check my HSReplay is, that i have met 0 rogues lol
No need, warlock has lifetap.
I am working on a similar deck. But it seems it need AoE. I added Hellfire and Lord Godfrey. Also, The Soularium + Arch-Villain Rafaam + Plot Twist is a nice combo. Or you can use it without Rafaam if you don't have him but draw cards and cycle cards.
You can't use Plot Twist with Rafaam because when you play him he'll turn Plot Twist into a random legendary.
Yup. You're right. I should have said Soularium + Plot Twist + THEN Rafaam. I did that a few days ago did it right. I messed up the order when i posted it.
An Ooze tech against Bomber Warrior seems to help a lot against that deck
You replace Bombs with Rafaam, but Rogue seems to be a probem ATM.
