Clarification: This deck is no deck you ladder with, this deck is something you switch to if you only (>80%) face control decks. Against Aggro it just don't cut it, but against handlock you can burn so many cards it's not even funny. With that said have fun with the deck.
With the latest addition through Gnomes vs Goblins mill decks could finally be less gimmicky and maybe somewhat competive.
The main goal of a mill deck is to fill your opponents hand with cards he can't use and burn additional cards he draws over the ten card handlimit. Ten cards in hand also means Clockwork Giant costs only 2 mana for a 8/8. 6 or more cards mean Goblin Sapper is a 6/4 for 3 mana.
The Draw:
This deck can force your opponent to draw 12-16 cards extra.[ Naturalizex2 (4), Coldlight Oraclex2 (8)+bounce with Youthful Brewmasterx2 (12), Dancing Swordsx2 (14) and Grove Tenderx2 (16).
An additional way to fill your opponents hand is provided through King Mukla (2cards) and Mechanical Yetix2 (1 card each). Both also serve as great bodies for the mana costs.
Combos:
Naturalize into Clockwork Giant
Coldlight Oracle+ Youthful Brewmaster
Dancing Swords,Grove Tender and Deathlord to thin out the deck even further.
Goblin Sapper and Clockwork Giant to actually profit of that cards in your oppenents hand.
Troggzor the Earthinator and Loatheb to make your opponent think twice about playing the spells you generously let them draw.
Malorne for infinite lategame pressure + taunts to get there
Possible additions:
The deck is made with no specific meta in mind. We'll wait and see how that shapes and can make adjustments to fit in. If you want to make your own changes the first cards to swap are probably Deathlord and Wrath
Tree of Life/ Healing Touch/ Ancient Healbot
More Giants are never bad, so two Mountain Giants is actually a nice Idea
Not sure about Jeeves but probably not worth it. If your opponent is down below 3 cards things are all going against you and you probably lose.
Thanks to a comment from user galuf, Elite Tauren Chieftain is now on the list of possible additions. I didn't even think of it.
All the tech cards Spellbreaker, The Black Knight, BGH and Sylvanas Windrunner etc. are meta dependend and we need to see when to fit them in.
If you try this deck and make your opponent burn his legendarys make sure to share your best plays with us in the comments.
i know its strange question but is there is any replacement for clock work and taurent chiftan and troggz and king mukla i am not joke please help
Edit: Sorry I was being too harsh
He may not have the gold/money/dust to have does cards so he is looking for replacements.
An extremely fun deck to play im so in love with this, i just swapped the Goblin sapper for a Innervate, works like a charm!
I looked briefly and didnt see it: Zombie Chow is actually at his best in a deck like this that isnt designed to do damage in the early game.
I would recommend over Goblin Sapper or Druid of the Claw or MAYBE Keeper of the Grove
this deck currently sucks in current meta not even rank 15 worthy, i am playing it perfectly (I have hit rank 5 legend before)
To make this deck work I had to swap out the ETC with a healbot. With the pandas you get much better utility for same mana. Plus healbot helps tons against face and midrange. Also I would like to see one less clockwork and possibly a combo in this deck. I personally run -1 Clockwork -1 Brew +1 FON +1 Savage Roar. With the amount of aggro decks on the ladder, milling can't be the only win condition. Against a mech mage or deathrattle hunter it will be almost impossible to get a clockwork down, let alone two. I have found that winning against an aggro deck is actually quite manageable if you avoid filling their hand and trade aggressively with this deck. Although this deck could use continual tweaking to keep up with the meta it is overall a fantastic decklist. Additionally i would highly recommend NOT using Malorne in this deck. I used to run him but if he gets facelessed or thoughtstolen it makes it nearly impossible to win unless you have a silence or are able to mill it.
I swapped out the goblin sappers for Deathlords, they're great for defenese. Here's my full list:
x2 Naturalize,
x2 Wrath
x2 Youthful Brewmaster,
x2 Coldlight Oracle
x2 Dancing Swords,
x2 Deathlords
x1 Goblin Sapper
x2 Grove Tender
x2 Swipe
x2 Keeper of the Grove
x2 Mechanical yeti
x2 Starfall
x2 Druid of the Grove
x1 Malorne
x1 Troggzor the Earthinator
x1 Ragnarps the Firelord
x1 Tree of Life
x1 Ysera
You mention Malorne in the description but it isn't in your deck
What made you get rid of him?
I just thought Malorne wouldn't work in this type of deck.
I have bested zoo locks with this deck!
I based this deck off of one that I run, I lack the trog, clockwork giants or the tauren, so I put in the combo and ancient of war instead. Also, I switched the druid of the claw out for recycle. It seems to work out well.
Total garbage. You cannot win without comboing. Half the cards in this deck don't work well enough to combo. Wrath is useless, Swipe is useless, Druid of the Claw is useless, and Loatheb is useless. And of course, I've lost 5 games in row because those are the only cards I'm drawing. Gonna modify with less trash.
If wrath and swipe are useless... what's left in druid? May be try out some other games.
Lawl. "I'm not good enough to play your deck, so it sucks!"
I havnt [card]King Mukla[/card], [card]Elite Tauren Chieftain[/card], [card]Troggzor the Earthinator [/card] and [card]Clockwork Giant[/card] but i rly want to try this deck. Maybe Gravehound can offer more budget version? And THX A LOT!
There isn't really a budget version of this deck, but you can try the natural remedies deck which works as a sort of fatigue deck. It's essentially all of the removal an heal cards a druid can get + a few mill cards. You can look it up in the popular deck section.
I like the idea of this deck, but the win condition is too definite. Mill is a viable deck when fatigue is not the only win condition (ie: when facing aggro).
I have a deck of similar caliber which I am trying to get feedback on, so please check it out!
Second game I played with this, I went up against a Mage and manged to burn Archmage Antonidas by milling.
