Daring Fire-Eater : Hero power is our best early tool agaisnt murlocs and tokens. This card helps to clear up to 3 health minions in early.
Acidic Swamp Ooze : Great agaisnt Bomb Warrior , Tempo Rogue and Shamans that run Likkim . Also provides a body agaisnt aggro decks.
Doomsayer : If you have Pyromaniac , Messenger Raven in your hand , you can play this on turn 2 agaisnt fast decks. Also if your opponent starts a nice board at turn 1 , this helps a lot. You can skip this vs slow decks.
Pyromaniac and Messenger Raven : Keeping these helps to secure the board and provides card draw.
Mountain Giant : Keep only agaisnt slow decks.
Never Keep : Khadgar , Arcane Intellect , Conjurer's Calling , Arcane Keysmith and high cost cards like Blizzard , Flamestrike , Astromancer , Power of Creation etc.

+2 Pyromaniac : good stats , draw potential + helping agaisnt aggro.
+2 Arcane Keysmith : finding Counterspell is nice agaisnt Brawl and aggro buffs. Also Ice Barrier is good too vs aggro and bombs.
+2 Mountain Giant : nice target for Conjurer's Calling . Potential end gamer combo. this + Conjurer's Calling = Grave Horror or Mountain Giant .
-1 Acidic Swamp Ooze : 1 ooze is enough for now.
-1 Doomsayer : Now we have Pyromaniac to secure our early board. 2 Doomsayer is overmuch.
-1 Polymorph : 1 is enough. There are not so much big threats anymore.
-1 Rotten Applebaum : 1 is enough because of it's cost.
-1 Astromancer : not reliable. possibly summon minions with bad stats.
-1 Frost Nova : with Doomsayer change , we dont need this anymore.
Version 2.0 :
+1 Power of Creation : more Khadgar synergy + a good mid-game option.
+2 Acidic Swamp Ooze : there are lots of warriors , rogues for now.
+1 Frost Nova : synergy with Doomsayer . Also can save your board.
+2 Arcane Intellect : synergy with Astromancer . helps to fill your hand again.
-2 Arcane Keysmith : very bad tempo but can be useful sometimes maybe when we see different enemies.
-1 Hex Lord Malacrass : same as Kalecgos . Not for now.
-1 Kalecgos : was too slow with other cards.
-1 Acolyte of Pain : replaced with Arcane Intellect
-1 Voodoo Doll : Polymorph is enough for now.

I wouldn’t yet. He’s powerful and all, but I’m not sure he’s that much better than Ysera in this deck. One potentially big turn, but if your discover stinks, and you have nothing to AOE, his ability is kinda meh

First of all, thanks for an inspiring deck! It has many great win potentials Khadgar -> Conjurer's Calling on Mountain Giant or some of your 6-drops from Power of Creation - its amazing. And who doesn't enjoy double Ragnaros the Firelord from Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk ->Satisfaction<-
* I've tried some of the suggestions from the comments on this thread. Mountain Giant works amazing in this deck I chose to swap them with Doomsayer as I don't find it necessary to have "the end is coming" - The Giants provide more value and great combo potential.
Instad of Hex Lord Malacrass I've put in a Harrison Jones for Weapon removal and some card generation. I like him better than Acidic Swamp Ooze - because the card genneration and minion statwise is quite nice with our artefact hunter.

Glad you like it. I've been trying without and find that it sometimes is a question of which archetypes I face more frequently - do you have suggestions for another card?

hate to break it to you guys but this deck is awful competitively.
it would be so much fun but right now it's just waaay to slow and the win condition is just too random. great meme. looks great, looks fun, but it loses to just about anything....(i lost to malygos hunter... malygos...hunter...)

I just don’t get what this deck is good against. Better control decks will build a stronger board, and then just big AOE away your huge (attempted) swing turns. Brawl, Hagatha’s, Twisting Nether can destroy your win condition and will almost always be available that late in the game. Against aggro it’s OK, but a bit slow and very brittle
Then dont overcommit on your board. You need to hold back a little, not just go all out.
“Go all out????” That’s the point of Khadgar - to have the “all out” turn. It has nothing to do with overcommiting. Once that turn is wiped, you have very little chance of outvaluing your opponent. This isn’t an aggro deck where you easily replenish your board - you’re using at least 7 (closer to 10) mana to get out a board with a fighting chance. The problem is 1) the opponent usually has a solid board presence and can trade effectively, or 2) the opponent still has all of their removal tools due to you having zero presence pre turn 8 (at best.) And this is just assuming you even have enough health left that the opponent needs to bother. Even slow control decks can whittle down this brittle version with relative ease.
The mountain giant and Rotten Applebaum suggestions are much better. Malacrass, Kalecgos, the Voodoo dolls all don’t feel like very good ideas in this deck. The updated list is better, but this still feels like it doesn’t have a matchup it excels against.
I was refering to the current list, not the original one.
Of course without ziliax and Malacrass i lost 10 times in a row^^
