New Secret Synergy
With cards like Desperate Measures, Sunreaver Spy, Mysterious Blade and our main girl Commander Rhyssa the archetype got revamped and will most likely be able to dominate as a great aggro deck in the new meta!
The Idea is to be as aggressive as possible and utilize secrets to their advantage and keep your minions alive. Having some of the best 1 and 2 drop minions in the game definitely doesn't hurt. Secretkeeper as well as Sunreaver Spy make this deck.
Mulligans
As secret paladin, you will need to mulligan specifically for Secretkeeper, Sunreaver Spy as well as a secret or Desperate Measures Commander Rhyssa is also a keeper if you happen to have her.
Edit: Added Leeroy since the deck needs to be aggressive
Edit 2: Removed Liam and added Call to adventure as well as a blessing of wisdom for consistency's sake. Card draw is really important
EDIT 3: Added Azalina Soulthief for some extra hand refuel
I will update the guide when changes come, In the meantime feel free to hit that +1 button if you enjoyed :D thank you for helping out!

I hope you guys enjoy playing this deck as much as I did, and May the top decks be in your favor.

Doesn't work with Masked Contender and Sentry...... Retarded.
Secret keeper half useful. Why?
Figures I build this deck and it can't even beat a starter deck. Hopefully I'm playing it wrong.
Azalina saved the deck <3
Can't see this deck surviving the meta settling, runs out of steam far too easily and gets pounded by anything even remotely midrange/control
CHECK OUT THIS AWESOME DECK GUYS ! https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1262492-famafountas-mechrattle-hunter
What do you think about Archivist Elysiana?
nah this deck aint going to fatiuge
great deck. after trying to homebrew a decent secret deck and failing this one actually worked. hats off. azalina is a 10,000 iq add. super creative.
As long as blizzard listens to children and memes this game can only get worse ...
They give you a secret paladin deck and at the same time remove divine favor from the standard (where there are only control cards), what the fuck should I do with a hand full of 1-drop? turn 3 and I concede because I've finished the cards with the opponent still full of health!
There is not even a secret that justifies the birth of an aggro paladin since there is no way to do damage with secrets in standard... Should we thank them for giving us a playable deck only in wild?
Is Divine Favor a Good Card? Yes, but only if you have a hand full of drop to 1 ...
An aggro deck can also draw the whole deck but after round 6 will never find anything that makes it turn the game since it has no aoe, stay cut off from the board.
People should learn to use their brains instead of shooting nerf at random ... (surely they are all new players used to playing classes like mage and they evaluated it without knowing the paladin class)
We fly over the nerf (devoid of all logic) to equality... they remove the cards to draw and nerf those that are played in combo
Blizzard is clearly tired of Paladin being a thing. At least for now.
I used the brew secret pally to climb to 5 as I finished opening the packs and it did it on a 4 win streak. Problem is, once you start matching bomb warriors, token druids and murloc shamans, the deck starts to falter.
Secret pally has to be very aggressive, and trading too often slows down the deck, not to mention the lack of draw. It might still get better, but it definitely suffers without Divine Favor.
Well this deck is clearly a one trick pony... if you can wait and get Rhyssa out on turn three or 4 with some secrets... you stand a good chance to just overwhelm your opponent. Noble Sacrifice + Redemption + Never Surrender = quite a few 2/5's on the board. Auto-defense matrix is questionable as the 2nd proc from Rhyssa is useless however it did save her in one game as it proc'd on her then the noble sacrifice + Redemption gave me some board clear the next turn.
Otherwise with a mediocre first draw and bad top deck... you're going to get whittled down and destroyed.
Feast or Famine.
Sweet deck! Will be interesting to see how the archetype changes as the set gets older. Played a few games with the list, check them out;

Azalina genius
Been using this exact list and so far got 15-7 (68% Winrate). Feels pretty solid, not sure why people are giving it grief if they haven't tried it! When you get used to how to mulligan it's great.
I've been playing around with Subject 9 but that doesn't really work, but the addition of Azalina Soulthief really helps.
Thanks for the deck kiwiinbacon!
Secret Paladin is NOT working out for me so far. With Divine Favor gone we've got crap for card draw. Desperate Measures keeps pulling useless secrets. And Commander Rhyssa, which I crafted, has been underwhelming since so few of the secrets she triggers twice actually double their effects. May have to give dragon pally a whirl. Or another class.
Doesn't perform that well against bomb warrior or mage as I am having to pleasure of getting smacked around by both at the moment, if they have dealt with your side of the board by turn 5-6 you have an empty hand with no chance of a comeback. Paladin having no card draw is going to drop them down the tier list and secrets just aren't that strong unless you get the god hand every game.
Yeah it needs some draw and maybe a Consecration or two would not go for wanting.
Without good card draw and a decent mid/late game, I feel this deck is being way over hyped. Also, Sunreaver Spy vs Secretkeeper have anti synergy because of the distinctions of being played against already having one, so perhaps we will see a shift towards cutting the 1 drop
My guess, this is tier 3. Will we finally be free of the rein of Paladin?
Thanks for posting. Please give us an update about how Call to Adventure works out. I am very skeptical it's worth it... but if you find out it works, I'd love to know.
