UPDATE (2/28/2020): Galakrond's Awakening, I believe Air Raid is a better 2-drop spell for us to use in place of Sanctuary.
UPDATE (12/11/2019): Descent of Dragons, I'm going to try out Nozdormu the Timeless and Sanctuary. I think Nozdormu will make the deck more consistent and make the second Call to Adventure not whiff.
UPDATE (8/11/2019): Saviors of Uldum, and we got a new card for our deck: Blatant Decoy, Colossus of the Moon, and Living Monument. Let's figure out what works and what doesn't.
-==Introduction==-
The whole point is to make a deck full of low cost spells and high cost minions. You're trying to take advantage of Duel! and Prismatic Lens. I thought I got lucky the first and second time I won. I didn't think this deck was going to do well, but I kept winning. It was way more consistent than I expected. Longer explanation if you follow the link.

-==Card Explanations==-
- Duel! You'll notice a lot of rush minions in the deck. When you pull a rush minion from your deck, it can still attack for the turn after the duel. It's as if it just got summoned.
- Redemption to bring back a large lad. Will stick around for Mysterious Blade.
- It's awkward... but when you have Redemption up don't use your hero power.
- Mountain Giant and Shirvallah, the Tiger cost 0 after Prismatic Lens.
- Batterhead is a great board clear, plus give him Lightforged Blessing for a big swing.
- Oondasta can create huge swing turns that auto-win you the game.
-==Mulligan==-
Early game is very important. Turn 2/3 is definitely our weakest turns. Try to have a weapon equip when you duel if you can juuuust in case you need to clean something up.
- Keep Duel!, that's what we're looking for.
- Keep Call to Adventure. Keep Prismatic Lens if you don't have Call to Adventure, because if you have Call to Adventure, you're going to have a turn 4 play.
- Keep Consecration against aggro.
This gets completely decimated by aggro and control. I've really never enjoyed myself less. I must be doing something terribly wrong because it comes across as an unviable troll deck when I play it
This is just the deck I was looking for to have fun this expansion.
Awesome deck, most fun I’ve had in a while, I didn’t want to craft the second batterhead so I tossed a nozdormu in there, people usually don’t know what to do about it haha

Nice deck! What ranks are you playing in? Hows the match up for druid, warlock, and rogue? How do you like archmage? I had him for a while but he ended up being an awkward pull sometimes.
i love him ! it helps at the beginning of the game he is a good 4 drop after a Call to Adventure , its a 4/8 body that the oppenent will do anything to remove and most liklely spend his best removals. i rarely pull him out with duel because it usually been played before
im 7-1 against druid at rank 8 (im not climbing ladder)
Filtering him out with Call to Adventure sounds great! Also it makes sense to run 2 Call to Adventure, and only 1 Prismatic Lens with your version. I'll probably futz around with this addition and see how it goes. I run out of steam verses late game mage/warrior, and Kangor's Endless Army sounds like a great alternative.
Love this deck, your list finally convinced me to run mountains, here is my take.
Find the Pyro Lightforged blessing AOE heal combo very good against druid and aggro, let me know what you think!
I also have been running - 1 Desperate Measures + 1 ysera sometimes, if i feel like im getting out scaled alot.
Wow, ya i love this. Interesting Wild Pyromancer pick. I'm not a fan of the very low chance that you may get Duel! to pull pyro, which will (probably) just lose you the game. BUT the upside is really nice. The Druid/Warlock matchup is tough, for me is just mull everything for Consecration. As for end game, I've definitely noticed I peter out. I ran Ysera for a while, she's quite good. I may need to bring her back.
Currently I'm running -2 Desperate Measures, +2 Humility. Ignoring their big minions helps me race better, and it's a bit more proactive compared to hoping Desperate Measures pulls Noble Sacrifice or Redemption.
I had a shower thought that Holy Wrath would be fun to run. If I did, I'd stick in Baleful Banker but I had the same dilemma with the Wild Pyromancer pick from above. Plus I don't get an empty deck often, I usually just lose before then if it goes that long. Holy Wrath without a banker means you're just saying "RNGesus take the wheel", which is dope, but probably not reliable enough.
Talking about Baleful Banker makes me want to try him. Because he could also be used just to get another duel target when you run out... hmmm...
If you have Oondasta I'd give her (him?) a shot. Some games you just auto-win with Oondasta pulling out a large lad on turn 5.
Hmm yea I didnt think of trying to squeeze baleful banker in there for the OTK combo, it does help if you run call to adventure because it minimizes the chances of dueling a lil dude. Ima try it out see how it goes, maybe run crystology , acolyte of pain and novice engineer for draw.... not sure might compromise duel too much, I wish baleful was only one attack haha.
I do seem to find myself in races most games against warriors, humility deff better vs them and rouges. My reasoning for running desperate measures was for better pyro procs, but lack of procs dosn't seem to be a problem too often hmm...
I sadly do not have oondasta, does seem like a strong version tho wish i could try it.
Ive been thinking of trying to come up with a mech list that involves damaged stegotron as duel negates the damaging battle cry, im saving the dust for kangors right now for secret mech list anyways aha!

Also holy wrath is a fun pick haha, I find the rush of it too much not to run, and i love doing the math to figure out my odds of clearing a certain minion xD
