Being the egotist I am, I made a deck all revolved around me. Also, I know the new expansion is right around the corner so I'll try to keep it updated when the new cards all get fully revealed.

How to Play

This deck is mainly focused around on keeping board control for the late game, in which the Echo minions become really good value cards. Cards like Fire Fly, Hench-Clan Thug and Backstab are all good at preventing the opponent from creating a large board. At the mid-game, cards like Mistwraith, Edwin VanCleef and Sherazin, Corpse Flower are all cards that have to be treated or else they can spiral out of control and seal a game incredibly easy. The rest of the cards are either Echo cards or support cards such as Vilespine Slayer and Sprint.

Match-Ups

This deck tends to do a lot better against control decks as you can exhaust their removal through the use of your Echo cards. For Aggro decks, try to mulligan for your early game and hope that you can stabilize against them.

Mulligan Guide

When against aggro decks, focus on getting SI:7 Agent, Backstab, Fire Fly [/card]and [card]Hench-Clan Thug. From there, hope your opponent doesn't have a great curve. If you are going against an Odd Paladin, keeping Fan of Knives is also great.

For control decks, it is much safer to keep echo minions, along with Mistwraith, Elven Minstrel and Sherazin, Corpse Flower. Typically you'll want to be the aggressor and if you can get any chip damage in at the beginning, you typically should be fine.

Substitutes

Edwin VanCleef is pretty good as he can close out games really early if you get a lucky start. If you do not have him, first off I'd recommend crafting him, not for this deck but simply because he's a really strong, possibly one of the strongest in the classic set, but if you do not want to, I would probably replace him with another Fan of Knives or a Mind Control Tech.

Face Collector is part of the whole Echo theme and while playable without it, I don't think there are enough Echo cards to really help Mistwraith work without it. I guess you can replace it with Pick Pocket as both fit the same role in the deck, but Face Collector is a lot better in my opinion.

Sherazin, Corpse Flower is really good at punishing control decks or even midrange decks if you can get its ability to activate early on. I also just really like Sherazin as a card so I'm probably a bit biased. However, similar to Vancleef, you can't really replace Sherazin with a similar card so I would just replace it with a Fan of Knives or Mind Control Tech.

Valeera the Hollow falls in a similar spot as Sherazin, this being I'm overly biased because I really like the card. There is not really a card that can do a similar thing and so I would just try to get a card that is just a good defensive card, like Zilliax or Stonehill Defender.

Final Verdict

This deck has been a pet deck of mine for a long while and even though it isn't that good, I still find it pretty fun to just mess around with. It's the type of deck that I'd recommend playing but not going out of your way to craft cards to make it. I don't play with a deck tracker and this is the type of deck I play on and off throughout the last year, so sorry if I do not have a lot of statistics for the deck or anything.
