Big thanks to you guys for making it the number one deck right now on HP! It's so much fun to play and it's competitive too, so I think it deserves the attention.
Hey guys it's Boomtjalah with another deck I think is worth popularising. I believe ThijsHS originally created a version of this deck. I've been trying this decklist out at rank 7 and mannn is it broken. 13 wins against 1 loss v.s. a warrior so far where I drew all my 8 drops and no triggers for at least 12 turns. Totally seems to be crushing the current meta. Will keep updating the win rate.
Boards with 6 The Lich King's or a healthy amount of regeneration from 4 Deranged Doctor are in store every game!
I will write a more detailed guide including mulligans and optimal strategy once the deck reaches 50 upvotes.
Short mulligan advice: It's best to pick for your Kobold Illusionist's and the Necrium Blade. Hit something with the weapon on turn 3 and trigger the Kobolds effect on 4. This will almost always get you going well. Other preferred tricks include the double trigger on a carnivorous cube obviously.
[Updated] Record so far:
Shaman: 1 - 0 Druid: 2 - 0 Mage: 5 - 1 Warrior: 2 - 1 Warlock: 4 - 0 Priest: 3 - 0 Hunter: 3 - 1 Rogue: 0 - 1 Paladin: 1 - 0 total win rate: 21-4
Basically, you only lose when you draw all your 8 drops after one another and you get no trigger cards, no kobold, no weapon, no draw etc.
Have fun, it's a metacrushing deck at the moment.
Videos featuring the deck in play:
Against Hunter you need to think very good of what you're doing, but I have a 60% wr over 30 games or so against them now.
The only real worrisome deck is odd-paladin. I'm currently experimenting with overall performance when you cut two cards and put in 2 x Fan of Knives.
General advice: if you face a lot of paladins on your rank above 5, put that card in and maybe cut Thalnos and/or a prep/and or roll the bones out.
If you don't: pretty much just keep this deckles. Might want to study the hunter match up a bit, and you'll rank up in no time.
Finished top 500 legend with this last season. It is an actually good deck. Bottom tier 2 would say. As long as you do not queue in to odd paladin.
Dane has had moderate success at ranks 5 - legend with this deck in the last couple years.
Edit: He plays it in wild though, where he has cards like Rag, Sneed, and Sylvannas.
Wow, this version of Big Rogue is one of the most fun and powerful decks I've played this expansion! Perfect for laddering in these last few weeks of the Rumble meta. Played some games with the deck and got some convincing wins, check them out;

lo que mas me a gustado es como le hace llorrar a big priest, demoledor,de nada le han servido las malditas estatuas de obsidiana
Good replacement for Thalnos?
Before I owned him, I used Shiv.
I replaced him with Weaponized Pinata just because it's very fun in this deck. Also, I replaced 1 Eviscerate and Roll the Bones (not a very good card imo) with 2x Fan of Knives because I was helpless against odd paladin. The deck is very fun, although it's very hard to deal with Rexxar generating minions with lifesteal after lifesteal...
this deck looks so fun , but i'm missing two necrium vial, they are very expensive to craft too.
what u guys think about mojo master and shark?
You cannot really combo shark with anything so it doesn't make much sense. Mojomaster is also unnecessary imo because you can generally defeat combo decks pretty easily and it doesn't help against Rexxar.
Idk if he's super useful, but I run shark instead of thalanos in this deck and it's always super satisfying when he eats a Lich king.
Is Thalnos mainly used for draw? Doesn't seem super useful compared to a Fan of Knives, a Mosh'Ogg Enforcer, or even Umbra?
yeah it's used for early draw mainly. You can try out fan of knives indeed!
This deck is amazing, after 1 hour at rank 10 to rank 5 . Cheers for the deck and his autor.
i was playing similar deck in wild, couldn't just get my head around on why people think its so good. After couple of games i saw pattern that i am just having the worst draws most of the time. I feel that this deck is more or less like big priest, its leaning on rng a lot, which doesn't really work in my favor at least.
That's the nature of any "Big" deck, really. It's super draw dependent and can struggle against aggro as it needs to draw any clears first and perfectly curve into big things. They bully most other archetypes though, as Control can struggle to take it all out at once things spiral out of hand, and Combo may just not be fast enough if the highroll is good enough.
Seeing how this meta is, I can see why people just want to chill and play some big boys snowballing into anarchy.
Yes its a super high roll deck. rng of draw then extra rng of getting the right random deathrattles
i made a reno dragon priest which was teched against aggro only. i beat every single big priest and rogue with it (this was last season). i was on rank 6 and just couldn't get to 5 with that, i just kept bouncing between 6 and 7. so i switched to my big rogue variation and ended back to rank 10. I mean its not much different, pretty much what you would expect from wild cards.
And i only ended up thinking how did all of them have barnes on 4? How tf didn't they draw all the minions first? i feel like i have only seen once someone shadow essence to barnes, but ppl talk about it like it happens every game?
Anyway i feel like you have to highroll for 5 games in a row (at least) in order to actually rank up. If anyone can do that, please teach me... teach me your rng skills.
I like the deck, but I'm really struggling against all the aggro decks out there
