This is my current tavern Brawl deck. Its built around a very simple concept. You have 2 primary discard enablers and 2 discard abusers. I've run into other decks with similar ideas or packages but this offers the most direct power from what I've seen. But let's break down the cards so they are understandable.

Malchezaar's Imp - This is your primary engine card, but it also has the upside of fighting well against aggro decks. a 1/3 is solid enough to trade with against most 1 drops and keep you in the game, while also providing you card advantage. If this card is banned you still have a lot of options for tempo and you can use your hero power for card advantage. You prefer this card isn't banned but its not the most important card in the deck.

Soulfire - This is your main source of burst damage and board control. Soulfire is just very powerful, as we all know. Its been a staple in many Warlock decks for a long time. This is however one of the more common bans, as people do fear its burst potential. However we do still have high flexibility and consistency without it, and so you can still function without it.

Succubus - Our second Discard outlet and while its generally not as powerful on tempo as Soulfire, its still a fine answer. It fights for the board well, and ends games very quickly. The ban we most hope to see picked, but still a great card in its own right. After decent testing I found this to be superior to Darkshire Librarian, simply because the raw stats are better than extra draws.

Silverware Golem - Our second Discard abuser. This is probably the strongest card in the deck because of the tempo and pressure it provides. When this card is banned it hurts our tempo plays, but doesn't prevent you from winning. You still have bodies and burn so you have a lot of options. Initially I saw this card banned very little, then more and more as my wins grew I saw more people banning it.

The other large key to winning this brawl though is finding your opponents weakness, and its not always about banning someone's best card, but banning their best card against you. We are a board-centric deck, so big aoe's or the right taunt minions can shut us down. If none of their obvious cards seem threatening go for the mystery card, but don't think its always the most powerful/obvious ban. I'll do some match up breakdown in the spoiler  below.

Mirror/Soularium variants - If you are going second you can see their ban, which can be very helpful in deciding your own path. Generally you want to ban The Soularium and then just build a board and hope to draw/rng better. Discards and Fist of Jaraxxus RNG can be very swingy. Sometimes that makes me feel like you just want to ban Soulfire instead, because Solarium is so much more random, but you can really only do that if they ban our Soulfire or Succubus. I have never lost a Disco lock mirror.

Beast Hunter - Ban Scavenging Hyenaand its basically a free win. Our big beefy bodies or Soulfires generally easily lock up the win.

Prince Liam/1 drop Paladin -  I don't actually think this deck is good. Some people are definitely playing it, but its highly upvoted, but I think its more of a fun thing than a good deck. Its slower than the fastest decks and still weak to the control decks unless they don't know to ban Liam/whatever you lategame card is.

Jade Shaman - Ban either Jade Claws or Tunnel Trogg. Everything we have lines up pretty favorably tempo win. Beat down and feel good.

Dragon Priest - As long as you ban Duskbreaker you should be fine. Strong tempo beats value here.

Mech Hunter - Against the Zilliax Variance IDK if you can win if they ban Soulfire. With Soulfire you have a chance though. Non-Zilliax versions are much easier to fight and you stand a fair chance either way. You always ban Mechwarper.

Odd Warrior - Another tough match up based on bans. Without Soulfire it gets very difficult to win. With Soulfire you have a chance. If they ban Soulfire its almost definitely correct to just concede and move on, but if you want to play it out and see how it goes I think Brawl is the best ban, since Reckless Flurry keeps their armor low and you can sometimes grind past their removal, but you have to be careful not to play more than 3-4 minions at a time.

Freeze Mage - Another tough match up. I think against them most of the time its probably correct to pick Research Project. It limits their draw and makes ours more meaningful. You can also risk it and ban Frost Nova but you still have to win very quickly and they have to draw pretty poorly.

Aggro/Mind Blast Priest - There are some different variants of this floating around. I haven't lost to any of them yet, they are easy to ban and generally slow way slower than us. If you see Mind Blast ban it, but some versions aren't playing it. Otherwise you probably want to ban a value card.

Mill Druid - After you ban Naturalize you generally can't lose. You do have to watch how many cards you draw, you probably want to avoid playing more than 1 Imp at a time, but otherwise you have huge amounts of tempo and beefy bodies to beat down with.

Good Luck, Have Fun!

I thought I might also take some time to talk about cards I didn't use and why I chose not to use them.  I tucked that away in the spoiler below, also decided to add a nice video that Wowous made highlighting the deck

Darkshire Librarian - Let's start here. This is likely the only card that should be in the deck over something. It might well be better than Succubus, but I'd have to do a lot more testing. ATM the stats for the Succubus have been pretty important when trading/racing are happening, though in the cases where Imp is banned it would give you more fuel than Succ does, if that is really necessary. From my games against this cards they have all be very very close with me edging out wins by the skin of my teeth.

The Soularium - This card is commonly seen in a lot of lists and does something similar to Malchezaar's Imp while also being a discard outlet. However, this card has no board value/presence, and only lets you discard the cards it draws, and doesn't help you discard from hand at all. Also, because this card always draws 3, and you can more easily control the number of draws with imps to prevent milling/overdraw I find this card to be worse than people think.

Fist of Jaraxxus - Much like Soulfire, except random and a discard abuser and not a discard enabler. This card provides much faster burst than something like Silverware Golem, but provides less consistency. It can lead to brutally fast kills, but it can also do a lot of nothing, provides no pressure like Golem, and worst of all is terrible when you actually have to play it from hand.

Cataclysm - The best raw anti-aggro card you can find. However this means you can't be aggro yourself. Very common in the Fist of Jaraxxus variety of deck, however our more board-centric version can ban this card and then easily out value that deck combo. I think if you're having trouble with an aggro heavy day and feel like you aren't getting into the board position you want, changing Succubus for this and swapping Silverware Golem for Fist of Jaraxxus is a fine. But it has less overall range.

Clutchmother Zavas / High Priestess Jeklik - A couple of super value cards, however having tons and tons of these in your deck leads to a cluttered/low tempo hand. Potentially fine with something like Cataclysm but generally too slow for this format.

Doomguard - The other big fast hitter. This card is fine, but its really slow if they ban Soulfire. This would likely lead to a situation where you need to change your hidden card and either hide this or Soulfire. That said I think its just too slow at 5 mana, unless the meta shifts heavily toward control.

Final Edit: Now have something like 50 games with the deck. Winrates are obviously worse at the higher games played, as people are better at bans and the meta at the top is very cut throat. Deck still works great to get your first wins and is super easy to play, even if winrates against the strongest control decks aren't that high. I had fun making the deck, and testing cards out. I finally starting playing something else, and decided to see if I could make a Control Disco Warlock deck to battle all the stuff I was seeing at the top. I'll throw that in a spoiler below if anyone's interested in something completely the opposite of this.
