The combo between Candleshot and Bloodscalp Strategist is bonkers and completely makes up for the lack of Hunter's Mark, post-nerf. It actually is better, imho, because you get a body on the board AND a context spell out of it.
I rampaged in the early hours of the morning on a 10-0 winstreak with this deck.
I've also expanded the Kathreena group to include Oondasta (saves your butt when you draw a big beast or two early), and I have forgone extra spells for Fungalmancer and and Umbra. The deck has crazy board control. It even plowed through Odd Warrior, winning by turn 9, surviving the typical warrior control spells... no fatigue game necessary.
The card generation from Bloodscalp Strategist and Stitched Tracker, when combined with DK Rexxar, also removes the need for Tracking altogether (I hate that card, personally).
In a deck with already garbage draw, you want to cut its reliability even further with a card that relies on you drawing one of only 2 weapons in the deck?
And how are you ever hitting 2 targets with Fungalmancer? Deathrattle Hunter will usually always be on the back foot until later turns.
