Hello Hearthpwn!
I'm a pro player for Oslo Lions and I am here to share my Even Pala deck that I got rank 2 legend with.
Will explain the tech cards below + try to give some advice on replacement cards.

With this deck I went from rank 375 to 2 in one sitting, been trying really hard to hit rank 1 this season but haven't yet.
Had a crazy good streak from rank 125-2 with 15 wins in a row (Prob got super lucky but deck still showed that it performs consistently), will also link the twitter post that contains stats and extra info.

  1. Dark Conviction wins matchups vs control mostly and hunter, It's really good vs Even Warlock and Priests taunt minions or Mountain giants. Also great early tempo vs Hunter to fight for board, I've had turn 1 Hero Power into Dark conviction where they greedily play Hyena vanilla on two because they believe Even Pala can't trade it.

  2. Loot Hoarder is an old school edition from pre nerf Call to Arms. The thing is when we play a Paladin that is this heavily teched we need a higher chance of drawing our tech. Using a minion with 2 in attack and that can be slammed down on curve just like that and works wonders vs cards like Razormaw, Hyena and Huffer is great. If you tech in Dire wolf it could also trade Northshire Clerics or Radiant Elementals

  3. Two x silence doesn't really need explanation but It's great in a meta where big taunts ajnd buffed minions exist. Mojomaster Zihi wins mostly vs the control decks that you face. It can also work wonders vs Priest example is denying a scream for a turn.

  4. Mossy Horror is my favorite card for many reasons, he beats on Wall Priest and he kills stuff like Timber Wolfs or Tundra Rhinos easily and cards like Leokk! Works out vs other aggro decks in the meta like Odd Pala + Zoo. Has potential vs Secret Odd Mage as they play Fire Fly, Dire Mole, Secretkeeper and Stargazer Luna while eating a Explosive Runes for less face damage to yourself.

Replecement cards:
Crystalsmith Kangor - Vicious Scalehide creates tempo plays and is good with Blessing of kings or Steed late game. Weakness is it doesn't have divine shield which is good for your corpsetakers. Having rush in this meta is good vs Hunters / aggro decks and for that late game lifesteal buff gain.

Loot Hoarder - Bloodmage Thalnos or Dire Wolf, I've gotten feedback asking if you can play those instead. Dire wolf could see strong plays in this deck but rather with loot hoarders and not without.
Thalnos is a old edition but mostly to counter the Odd Pala level up play, which doesn't exist anymore so I don't see much purpose for him. Also the combo would cost 6 mana which goes against a tempo plan just leaving a 1/1 on board.

Tirion Fordring - Nerubian Unraveler, Argent Commander, The Black Knight, Avenging Wrath. All of the above mentions makes us stronger vs Priest, which can be a weakness for Tirion Fordring. Nerubian Unraveler is just good overall for board control and messing up their removal. Argent Commander will give you better tempo and aggro while still helping Corpsetaker. The Black Knight is good vs Priest and Deathrattle Hunters + Warriors, but can feel too situational. Avenging Wrath is nice if you like to just put that extra face damage out there when you have a established board control.

Mossy Horror / Spellbreaker - Equality can do work as it focuses on removal which it has in common with the other two cards. The probem is Equality can become a card you get in mulligan or early draw which just sits in hand without a clear combo. The other two cards are minions and can in worst case be thrown out on board for board presence, they have an easier time getting some sort of value too.

Some more info:
Deck focuses on board control using sticky minions and tempo plays. It has late game potential in cards like Sunkeeper Tarim, Spikeridged Steed, Tirion Fordring, The Lich King, Blessing of Kings, Mojomaster Zihi, Corpsetaker and The Glass Knight. This means we want a lot of the other minions earlier, tho you'd still want Corpsetaker in mulligan. Blessing of Kings and The Glass Knight + Sunkeeper Tarim are crazy good vs all kind of control in Mid game.
Combinations of The Glass Knight, Truesilver Champion and Crystalsmith Kangor / Vicious Scalehide can create great tempo swings, so don't focus on going face if you can have a established board.

Hydrologist is a interesting card where I recommand picking Autodefense Matrix - Reasoning: I noticed people mixing Corpsetaker + Redemption, which I don't like because it won't ress it with buffs. Can be used just for creating sticky minions offcourse, but I'd redcommand using the Autodefense Matrix [/card] for another divine shield after they trade into it, could then be saved as a 3/3 after secret pop with all buffs intact instead of 1/3 with no buffs (Weaker against spells tho..).
[card]Repentance - Great card vs control if you time the turns correctly forcing them to do a awkward play or play a big minion into it. So Hydrologist is really good overall and can always give you a option that works and mind games the opponent.
(Won twice on Eye for an Eye lol)

Hope this info and small guide helps, have gotten good response for this deck and I love it myself. So Gl Hf and beat on the Hunters, tech vs the Priests, dodge the Warriors! :)
