Overview:

✔ Frogs (Hex, Krag'wa, the Frog)

✔ EleMentals (value generation, anti-aggro, Grumble, Worldshaker)

Some neat card combos:

• Unstable Evolution + Krag'wa, the Frog will allow you to build tall boards multiple times. (Tip: If you can, play the evolutions on turn 6 or later to be able to immediately evolve Krag'va and make space for your next draw.) Krag'wa is overall great value generator and can give you additional key cards back in different matchups (evolutions in Control/midrange, AoE against aggro, Hex against Big Priest). 

• Shudderwock. Shudderwock serves 2 functions in this deck: 1) to get additional value and 2) to fend off aggro (and combo) for a bit. Our battlecry minions have incidental synergy with Shudderwock while still being good cards on their own:
• Loatheb protects our board and prevents spell based combos for a turn
• Hagatha the Witch gives solid AoE
• Gluttonous Ooze just devours that Kingsbane
• Elementals + cost reduction with Fire Plume Harbinger

• Loatheb + Dirty Rat to destroy them combo decks. I find Rat almost an auto include in control decks these days and this one is no exception. Time them just before a combo is about to happen to ruin it, play into AoE or enemy Doomsayer. Loatheb gives another turn against a lot of decks also. Both cards synergy well with Shudderwock and Grumble, Worldshaker.

• Fire Plume Harbinger + Walking Fountain. Our main recovery. The ability to remove 2 threats immediately while giving us health back is invaluable and is worth including a relatively weak 1/1. The Fountain bridges the gap between elementals, healing and removal and is the best we could hope for from Rise of Shadows.
