So just curious...Why is there randomly a copy of Runic Egg in here? I mean I know the objective is to draw as much as you can with this deck but isn't Novice Engineer a better option? Egg can be punished in a few ways such as your opponent simply doesn't have to kill it cuz the deck doesn't have buffs and ignore it thus you don't get the draw until later so you have to kill it off yourself. Worst case scenario you have no way to kill it of yourself and if your opponent is smart and doesn't kill it then you can't combo off. Turn 1 to play a 0/2 that does nothing is probably the slowest play out there you can ever make. If it gets silenced then you just wasted a turn to do nothing and have a 0/2 stuck on your board. Whereas with Novice is very rarely punishable, you get the draw right away, it dies off easier than Egg and it combos with Defile. Or heck even Bloodmage Thalnos seems better option than Novice Engineer.
I guess there is a reason for it to be in the deck but I just don't see it. I know this may seem very nit-picky but I just don't understand why it's in the deck when there are clearly better options for draw, is it just here for the memes or..?
It might work for a defile activator.
Also really helps with Lord Godfrey and obviously draw.
Egg doesn't die from 1 tick of Defile.
Godfrey doesn't need help in most situations, even then you can just use Novice or Thalnos for a tick.
There is absolutely no reason to use Egg in this deck over the other options.
The downvotes are from people with no brain.
How does The Soularium perform? Wouldn't it occasionally burn combo pieces?
You use it after you have the combo pieces so you can draw the last few cards in your deck and combo off.
