- New and updated version of my evolve/shudderwock-formula! -
- Works basically the same as my older deck Evolution Fusion, but now with a few newer cards and key-legendaries added to benefit Shudderwock more -
- In general, just flood the board to get as many minions in play for evolving as you can and feel free to use you copy and return-to-hand battlecries on what you desire because Shudderwock will take good use of them all, but he is not key for this deck to work, just works as extra evolve, not caring what becomes of it afterwards, focusing on maximum evolution and evolving as much as possible to get the biggest and most fierce minions to kill your enemy with -
- Jade-golems scale well as they ramp automatically and are obvious as backbone-cards in any wild evolve-deck -
- As a few new ones we have Grumble, Worldshaker and Bog Slosher to return cards to your hand again plus Baleful Banker and Zola the Gorgon for adding copies to your hand and in your deck -
- A card that works wonders with the battlecry boosts is The Mistcaller which should be played immediately when you can and it can also have great synergy with Shudderwock, allowing the boost to be cast multiple times and furthermore it benefits all cards in both your hand and deck, but most of all cards like Doppelgangster and Echoing Ooze -
- Witch's Apprentice is also new and is a great utility-card for giving the right spell that you didn't know you just needed, giving Shudderwock one more great battlecry function -
- Another new one is Unstable Evolution which has also been added to gain a great evolve-ability with an echo-effect -
- All in all, a quite fun deck that can be very lethal if played right -
- Check it out! -
- Feel free to discuss the workings of this build in general, or if you need to replace cards -
- :o)
Replaced the 2 Witch's Apprentice and The Mistcaller with 2 Lightning Storm and Electra Stormsurge. This really helps keep you alive for the late game. Electra Stormsurge can help with a big clear, or really buff up your evolve mechanics.
- Sounds legit -
- :o)
You may consider that you can play life drinker instead of echoing ooze which i dont think you need it or it helps at all and have a second late game win condition(in which you also never play trall as it blocks it)
- Perhaps yeah -
- Must see it in play to get a bigger picture -
- :o)
I've found Electra Stormsurge to be very good in Evolve decks. Paired with Evolve you get a 5-drop and Thrall, Deathseer's Battlecry for only 4 mana! There may not be enough spells in this deck to justify it, but I'd definitely suggest trying her out.
- Nice 1! -
- :o)
pretty fun should you survive until turn 5-6 .. most of the time you just dont.
Most games are pass/totem/Bog Slosher on empty board, Master of Evolution on empty board, dead ^^
- I do realize it can be a bit tricky to survive the first few turns -
- :I tend to just try and flood the board all I can -
- :o)
This is fun but it's hard playing with no removal. I thought about adding removal and going highlander to bring in reno but then I guess you lose a lot of the jade synergies.
- The force should be in evolving minions big to gain board control -
- But yeah, I guess Jade-golems are structural in this deck and works great with scaling higher and higher cost minions which has maximum benefits with your evolve-cars -
- If you wanna go for Reno Jackson you should use both Jade-golems minion-set x1 and the C'Thun minion-set x1 alongside each other to create a great backbone of versatile cards and setup useful battlecries for Shudderwock -
- :o)
No Yogg, no upvote.
- Oh yeah, how could I forget about Yogg-Saron, Hope's End? -
- Great addition I must say! -
- It will most definetely be experimented with in future versions of this deck -
- :o)
