I used this deck from rank 15 to 10. It took me 26 games. I had a great start goig like 10-1. But then around rank 11 i met only warlocks...and that shit was just really tough (41% warlocks in 26 games). They always have Dark Pact, Spellstone and Hellfire in the opening hand.
Half of my games were just at rank 11 going back and forth. In the end i managed to beat one warlock and with my next 2 wins against aggro hunter and Kingsbane rogue i made it to 10.
Edit: Meanwhile rank 5 with 36-16 (69%) win rate.
I swapped out both Ancestral Knowledge for Haunting Wisdom
How do you feel about Sir Finley Mrrgglton in the deck? I'm a standard player and don't have him and I have the dust to craft, but I'm still a little hesitant because I'm unsure of the power level of this card. For the meanwhile, I've tested out different cards (Krag'wa, the Frog, Leeroy Jenkins, Bloodmage Thalnos, etc) and each respective card has their pros and cons. Do you think Finley is a must-craft?
Just hit rank 5 with this deck from rank 18 and my thoughts are;
-Ancestral Knowledge sucks. Overload should be utilised towards more immediate things like burning face or removing a threat. It also is terrible tempo and slows you down hard with doing nothing to board or face and locks your 2 mana crystals. Spirit of the Frog is more than enough and it doesn't trip your tempo (hence the reason this deck works).
-Teched version of this deck is actually pretty good against the dreaded plague that's called Big Priest. 2 Hex instead of Ancestral Knowledge . Park the bus and just Hex their resurret targets. When you run out of Hex then use Devolve (use Hexes first). I usually do nothing for like 8-9 turns besides Hexing and then go ham with burn combined with Wednesday Frog. Hex is also good against Control Warlock variants. Devolve Voidcaller and Hex big demons.
-Always look to race, it's important because you dont have much minions to win via board most of the time so calculate your turns ahead and casually throw stuff at opponents face. You generally lose anyway if they have heals in the deck and you couldn't manage to snowball the board early. Try to roll for Spell Power Totem if you can afford to.
-Used this budget version https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1236157-wednesday-shaman because i do not have the two legendaries. I also believe you can easily hit legend with this if you were to waste enough time.
Mulligan please? im struggling
looks good. what about kragwa the frog? is it slow?
deck is actually great. but medium skill cap. first four games i lost made terrible mistakes but after that 13/3 win rate for me
Replacement for Finley?
Earth Shock or Maelstrom Portal should be fine.
I like it. What do you think of ancestral knowledge? Also it looks like i can use ancestors call + malygos combo, what do you think?
I've replaced the Maelstrom Portals with Ancestral Knowledge and I've really enjoyed the extra cycle towards the burn spells.
Yeah, i saw, but i dont really like this change in a world full of pirates and silver hand recruits. What else is replacable? No jade lightning thou, i replaced both with maly-ancestors
