Hi, guys!

I play control priest with a quest for 3 seasons. This is my favorite deck at the moment. I adapted it to the current meta and easily move up the rank.

This deck has a very large value. You can easily play with control decks. At the same time, you defeat the hunters in the current meta.

OTK paladins and mehaktun-packs can cause problems. But they are almost absent in ladder.

At the moment, the statistics of the latest version of my deck:

  • 92% wins against warlocks
  • 65% against hunters
  • 77% against mage (100% against the control mage)
  • 59% against paladins (so many OTK at 5 rank :))
  • 100% against a warrior at the moment. But on my way only 5 warriors came across.
  • 58% against the priest. (only resurrect priests are causing problems).

Mulligan and tips:

Always keep quest in hand! :)

In any game you will be delighted with these cards (in descending order of importance):
- Bloodmage Thalnos
- Loot Hoarder
- Crystalline Oracle

With these cards you scroll the deck and complete the quest. Hold in your hand all copies of these cards on the mulligan.
Resurrect them with Twilight's Call.
Do not be afraid to quickly scroll the deck, because it will help you quickly find answers to all threats and complete the quest. And then you use Archbishop Benedictus and get a card advantage.

If these cards did not come, leave the Plated Beetle in your hand vs aggro. He will help fight off early aggression, accumulate some armor and complete the quest.

In addition to the main mulligan:


Vs hunter and aggro: always keep Duskbreaker or Mass Hysteria. And you really can help the card described above. Try not to use Amara, Warden of Hope or Archbishop Benedictus before Zola the Gorgon comes into your hand.


Vs warlock: always expect to play against the zoo and try to find Duskbreaker or Mass Hysteria. Because control warlock you win anyway. But always keep Shadow Word: Death or Shadow Visions for find it (Mountain Giant on 4).


Vs palladin: As with a hunter, only a good idea is to find Spirit Lash (remember that it can be used with Bloodmage Thalnos).

Replacements:

Seance -> Chameleos (if you do not meet the dragon-priests)

Ysera -> Alexstrasza (undesirable replacement. Replace only if you do not have Ysera)

1 x Mass Hysteria  -> 1 x Psychic Scream  (if you don't meet mid-hunters very often)

If you meet OTK decks very often, take Mojomaster Zihi instead 1xMass Hysteria .

Update 29.01.2019: since there were so many priests with Alexstrasza and Mind Blast's, I replaced the Chameleos with Seance. This allows us to win such priests easily and always have Amara, Warden of Hope after Alexstrasza.

Also replaced 1 Psychic Scream on Mass Hysteria to improve matchup with mid-hunter.
