This is not clickbait - the moment we (myself and my brother) saw that druid was getting nerfed we knew this deck would crush hunters all the way to legend!

EDIT: We made a channel! Come and support on youtube if you want to see us piloting it in Legend :)
If you regularly visit Hearthpwn then Tommy_wave needs no introduction! He is back with another deck spotlight:
Intro/General Strategy:
The premise of this deck is to start the game strong and end extremely early. It is an aggro deck through and through; that relies on getting very sticky boards. It does particularly well against spell hunter as when they play their secrets it further buffs our secret keepers!
Here are a couple of really clutch starts:
on coin:
- Place redemption --> The Coin into Vicious Fledgling. This way it is almost impossible for him to remove fledgling!
- Place either Righteous Protector or Argent Squire --> Blood Knight. This way you play a 6/6 on turn two; so gross!
w/out coin:
- Play Secret Keeper --> double secret --> Vicious Fledgling. Still a very strongand fast way to get out flappy bird that should allow it to stick.
- Play Righteous Protector or Argent Squire --> Redemption + Blessing of Might. Smashes 5 damage into face on turn two, and revives the minion as a 1/1 with divine shield if cleared.
Mulligan:
Versus Aggro: In general just have a good play for all three of your first turns, i.e curve out.
- Hunter: Just find Secretkeepers: GG and profit. Also Redemption is bad for testing secrets but good for absorbing huffers.
- Heal-lock: Try and be the first one to throw a flappy bird on board; this way he either has to use a Soulfire or it sticks and you have a great chance of winning.
- Odd Rogue: Redemption is so clutch here. They are usually only able to clear one minion a turn and if that minion revives it helps our board state out a ton.
- Even Shaman: I've found that jugglers help a lot against Even shaman especially when stuck behind a Righteous Protector. Try and find those but otherwise just hunt for one drops- your goal as usual will be to fight for board control as he does not run any removal bar Hagatha.
Versus Control: You can be a bit more greedy and fish for Vicious Fledgling (Flappy Bird) + Tarim.
- Taunt Druid: very unfavoured but thank the nerf hammer that there are now far less of these around; flappy bird or bust. It's worth noting that you can go wide and not have to worry about spreading plague.
- Mechthun Priest: Greatly unfavoured - we are contemplating adding Mojomaster Zihi as this deck gains popularity. But try and curve out while fishing for flappies.
- Control Lock: Search for your silence as a Voidlord sticking can end it for you.
Shameless Stream Promotion:
It's our second time ever hitting legend and we just did it on stream so you have 6 hours of this deck being piloted from Rank 3 --> Legend to get through if you'd like some help piloting it!
Also for a bit of context, the guy who swore at us during the screenshot was a guy who was about to hit legend then he lost three games to us in a row! Two of them were spell hunter and one was control pali. We narrowly got through his control pali to snatch legend!
If you enjoy the deck and would like a mulligan guide then please upvote! If the deck gets to 25 upvotes then I'll add more detail and include a mulligan guide. Thanks for the incredible support everyone! As promised: ^^
Much love and goodluck on ladder everyone!

EDIT:
-1 Blood Knight / +1 Spellbreaker (We have found the final silence wins you many more games than the occasional 3 mana 6/6)
SECOND EDIT:
-1 Blessing of Might / +1 Mojomaster Zihi (With the abundance of combo decks we are facing in legend this card is invaluable, if you do not have it or are between Rank 15 - 5, I'd suggest skipping it)
It looks like they always have best opening hand... So if they do you can't do shit. Or maybe I am miss playing the deck. From my own experience around 30 games, If they don't start 2 secret + wolf turn 5 into Rexxar or To my side turn 6, then I can beat them. I'd say SecretKeeper is your best drop early game, with something to cover. They usually have the one turn weapon which is pretty annoying... Honestly this match up should be in our favor but it looks like they always have every answer in hand ^^ But its hearthstone, sometimes bad RNG you just need to try hard !
I'll tell you more when I'll do more games and master a bit more this deck :)
Yeah, it feels weird smorc ing with Pali against a hunter but if youbstart to trade his miniojs then thia deck.is an auto.concede
Why Call to Arms? When you put 2 Hydrologist on board that's kinda waste isn't it?
Great deck overall, having some issue maybe because i'm not running Tarim. Secret odd mage counter hard if they draw Secretkeeper turn one, and almost impossible to win against warlock.
Else, having good time against hunter :D
My list : -Tarim - Call to arms (1) + Crystology + Liam (can give you the win against beast hunter in late game)
I guess Tarim would be great to add, I might craft him! How decisive is it in your games?
9w 5l so far, and pretty fun to play when you can have a 10+ att blood knight or Fledgling :D playing around rank 8 atm
Thks for sharing :)
Edit : - Crystology + Tarim works like a charm / 59% win rate so far with probably some missplay/bad muligans, I'd say worth investing some dust, especially in Tarim!
Although Tarim isnt the best craft rn as it isnt a brand new expeansion legendary, it is very essential in this deck! Definitely worth the craft if youre a pali main.
SO glad to hear man!
Don't have [card]Call to Arms[card] and Tarim any suggestion for replacements?
Unfortunately those cards are core my friend :/, especially Tarim.
I personally think its too slow, but possible I guess, just remember that you usually pull and.make use of all.of.your secrets with the secret recruit mechanic!
Isn't this deck just an auto-concede against any mage, most warlocks, and beast hunters?
Really great question. I totally agree with warlock, although we did beat one or two of them.
Not quite with mage and beast hunters. If its odd mage you can out tempo him and if it is control you can try get fledgling + redemption + blessing of kings. If you can get fledgling to stick with redemption, you can beat any deck really.
With beast hunters you should have a really good chance. The idea is to hide your minions behind righteous protector and keep using redemption so that he cannot attack your minions. You can also build a big board of tiny minions early (he will probably attack your face) and then just use Sunkeeper Tarim to trade or attack face. All hunters are quite easily beaten. Have a look at the video of us playing this deck to legend and you see that we face about 50% of hunters and beat most of them.
Luckily there are not too many warlocks out there just yet.
Warlock is easy to beat with this deck (4-0)
But Warrior is problem tho
This deck absolutely dominates Hunter which is so common in rank 5 - 1! Its quite tough against Control Warlocks, but everything else is in the current meta is pretty much more in this decks favor.
Great deck!
cool deck, 3 game 3 wins, go next
Wooohooo, glad to hear it is working for you!
