Hereby I present the deck I used since yesterday to climb from rank 20 to my first time ever rank 3. I've been absolutely blown away by the results in any given matchup, so I decided to make a guide about it.

I've played roughly 54 games with 18 losses that I have recorded with a replay tool (Overwolf + HS Decktracker). Under here I listed replays versus diverse decks. Under there I listed a mulligan / matchup guide. Please leave a +1 if you enjoyed the guide / deck, or drop a comment for questions.

I'll try to improve the deck / guide as I will continue to ladder to hopefully reach legend this season. I'm not the best writer or deckbuilder, so keep that in mind. Thanks for reading!

Proof of rank (3 currently).

 Match-ups and replays.

Some card choices (compared to other Deathrattle Hunter decks).

Here I list a few cards I feel that need a little extra explaining.

Swamp King Dred: I felt like the previous version did not have enough 'big' beasts to finish off your opponent. And Dred provides the element of surprise, given that it does not see much play at the moment. For me it felt like a good counter versus the rare Quest mage I encountered but also Kingsbane Rogue. I will add a replay for Kingsbane Rogue as soon as I can, and Dred provided me the lethal window, clearing 2x free taunts (Dread Corsair).

Mossy Horror
A bit more of a commonly played card in these type of decks, providing a perfect counter for some zoo decks, odd paladin and ofcourse druid with Spreading Plague. Given the current state of the board, it can sometimes also serve as an activator for your Devilsaur Egg.

Dragonmaw Scorcher
A board clear and 3/6 body for when you need it. For me personally it mostly serves play on turn 5 after an Emerald Spellstone drops several wolfs, and I hopefully am lucky enough to follow-up with Deathstalker Rexxar in some cases.

Gluttonous Ooze
A well-needed weapon removal, given the fact that Skull of the Man'ari, Kingsbane, Twig of the World Tree, Eaglehorn Bow and Truesilver Champion are all over the place again.

 General mulligan guide

1. Prince Keleseth: The earlier you can play this, the better. Boosting your devilsaur eggs is a huge benefit for example.
2. Devilsaur Egg: Will put a lot of pressure early on if you manage to combo it with Terrorscale Stalker preferrably, or Play Dead.
3. Terrorscale Stalker: Best activator early on for your Devilsaur Eggand Spider Bomb.
4. Candleshot: The obvious 1-drop to pick off small minions or trigger secrets early-on. And you can bet 8/10 times it's an early dropping Wandering Monster.

 Combo's and deck synergies.

Terrorscale Stalker
Does not need much explaining, used mostly to trigger your Spider Bomb and Devilsaur Egg in the early game, or provide OTK's with Carnivorous Cube in lategame.

Carnivorous Cube
Perfect for providing a lategame one-turn kill with Charged Devilsaur or King Krush. Versus aggro it is great to get your Witchwood Grizzly to double, triple or quadruple in board presence.

Oondasta
Provides a window of opportunity that deathrattle / recruit hunter lacked big time. The stacking of 'big' minions in your hand that feel useless when you did not draw Kathrena Winterwisp in time for example. It can help to finish off your opponent, summon zombeasts from Deathstalker Rexxar or to trigger that 3/12 Witchwood Grizzly to drop without health drops.

Some obvious combo's;

Carnivorous Cube on King Krush + Play Dead / Terrorscale Stalker for a potential 16 or 32 damage combo (OTK).

Carnivorous Cube on Charged Devilsaur + Play Dead / Terrorscale Stalker for a potential 14 or 28 damage combo (OTK).

Card replacements

Since this deck can hurt the F2P player's gold and dust stockpile hard I list some replacements for mostly the legendary cards in this deck.

Da Undatakah
A card which I do not own (yet), could be a possible addition or substitute to improve this decks winning chances.

King Krush and Oondasta
Two powerhouses that give huge bonuses. However to replace either one of them I'd recommend adding a second Charged Devilsaur or replace them with Amani War Bear or Savannah Highmane to make it more budget-friendly.

Swamp King Dred
A very optional tech choice, can be replaced with a second Stitched Tracker, Tar Creeper, Savannah Highmane or Amani War Bear to stick with 'big' beasts.

Houndmaster Shaw
Also a disputable card, so far I've kept this in any version of my deck since it still provides a unique bonus. Can be replaced with cards such as Release the hounds[/card'], [card]Tundra Rhino, Stitched Tracker, Tar Creeper, Savannah Highmane
