Intro

Hello! My name is Ivona; I go by theoddone23. I am a multiple Legend Hearthstone player who recently joined F2K Community. I started playing Hearthstone in September 2015, and I first hit Legend in September 2016. Since then I have been entering Legend rank consistently. I now get Legend on NA and EU every month. My highest reached rank so far is #97, and I did it with Mid-Range Shaman. I am also a full-time Hearthstone streamer. You can find my stream on this link: www.twitch.tv/tvzgames if you want to learn more about me and see what decks I play. About the deck

This deck is one of my first Rastakhan theorycrafts. I decided to share it with you because it's a lot of fun to play, while actually having multiple win conditions. The greatest strength of this deck is its flexibility. It has ways to clear boards, build them, buff them, outvalue opponents, and overall make it impossible for them to establish their own win condition. Your gamestyle depends on the matchup, the situation - there's no clear formula on how to win, which makes it different than most decks nowadays!

General Mulligan

You always want: Righteous ProtectorStonehill DefenderCorpsetakerTruesilver Champion and you usually want to keep Spiteful Summoner unless you're playing against a really aggressive deck where you know you won't get to your win condition!

Versus aggro, consider: Wild Pyromancer - it's used to combo with Shrink Ray for a board clear

Versus control & slower decks, consider: Pretty much the same mulligan you usually want to keep, also make sure to keep Spiteful Summoner here!

Q&A

Q: Wait a minute! Why would you run 4-drops in your deck? This is a Spiteful deck!
A: That's true, it is. However, this is a very non-greedy version. Statistically, you're still getting above average stats even with a 4-drop on turn 7, even though it may not be considered "unfair" - which is what we all like. (: You need those BoK's to contest the board early on and beat aggro/tempo decks - without it, you may as well day until turn 7 when you get to play a "greedy" version of Spiteful Summoner.

Q: How do I clear the board if I don't have Equality and Consecration in combination with Wild Pyromancer?
A: This deck finds it more difficult to clear boards since you're not a control deck. But it shouldn't be your task as a Spiteful deck, should it? :) If you get in trouble, you can use Wild PyromancerShrink Ray for full board clear. It costs 7 mana, but you should be able to survive until turn 7 with what you have in the deck. You can also use your other spells and Coin to combine with Wild Pyromancer for smaller board clears.

Q: What am I looking for when I play Stonehill Defender?
A: Strong Paladin cards (but it depends on the matchup, really). Try to go for Tirion FordringThe Lich King... The good stuff.

Q: Why do you run single copies of Lay on HandsDinosizeA New Challenger...?
A: These cards are VERY situational and you don't need two copies of them in every single matchup. They provide the deck with flexibility and ways to fight different archetypes. Use them wisely! (And try not to draw them before Spiteful Summoner :)

Some last words

This deck is still new and is prone to changes - if you're finding it difficult to battle a certain class, you can always tech in a silence, weapon removal, MCT, whatever helps you rank up more efficiently. Make sure to not put in any cheap spells in the deck (they have to cost 5 or more for you to get proper value out of Spiteful Summoner!). If you have any feedback or questions - post them in the comments, or find me on one of my links/social media.
