With this deck you don't mind to trade. You even might want to do it sometimes.
If you have a couple of bombs and eggs on the field, you play Blood Troll Sapper and Grim Rally and you trade the bombs off dealing 4 damage face for each of them.
If you also have the Spirit of the Bat, you buff your hand in the same time.
Other than that, it is standard swarming tactics and punching the face.
EDIT: Adjusted according to the rotation.
Wow, this is neat.
I haven't played Standard for months so I started at rank 25. My winrate has been decent, but that's been affected quite a bit by new players - against non-basic decks I think my winrate has been below 50%.
First issue is the mana curve. Getting the board control during the first few turns is really difficult so I added some generic minions. I added Voidwalkers and Vulgar Homunculuses which helped a lot, but I'm thinking Flame Imp might be a better choice than Voidwalker.
The second issue is consistency. The optimal situation seems to be that there's a target - a bomb or egg - to kill, you have a tool to kill it with, you also have a Spirit of the Bat, and you have something you want to buff in your hand, which is nearly impossible to pull off. That's also one reason I think adding generic minions help: it lets you separate the combos. You can just kill off the targets without worrying about the Spirit, and build a board with the non-synergistic minions that you can trade away to get value out of the Spirits and the Sappers.
I haven't had a chance to play Hir'eek, the Bat yet. Seems hard to pull off.
Blood Troll Sapper appears to be a good late game threat but clunky as a finisher. It did win me a game where my opponent at low health would've played a board clear after I went wide, but so far that seems like a rare occurrence.
